Skyline High is hosting an advanced concussion training on Tuesday in the school’s Farnsworth Theatre (12250 Skyline Blvd., Oakland) from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The training is presented by Sports Legacy Instittue, a non-profit organization found in 2007 by concussion expert Dr. Robert Canut and former Harvard football player and WWE professional wrestler Chris Nowinski. It’s also hosted by the California Concussion Coalition: Northern Chapter. The training will be conducted by Nowinski, the SLI co-founder and executive director, and Coalition co-chairs Dr. Cindy J. Chang and Dr. Eric Freitag.
