@Cokito…Dam right…should be a great season for soccer at all the schools. Expect to see some improvement at Las Lomas & Alhambra. Monte Vista should be hot along with De La Salle and San Ramon. Clayton Valley has all new coaches which should be interesting.
BOD and Campo should do well although the Ball Whisperer is now out here on this side of the tunnel. Sparty will have the showcase again in December with a very good list of teams attending and a possible 5 peat at NCS. OLE OLE. Game On

CVC blew the doors off of Concord. Very impressed by Proetheroe (RB) and younger brother is a load. I would love to see #5 go somewhere like SJS so he would have a better chance to play.

As for Concord, I was impressed with the size and speed of their WR’s. I was not impressed with the RB. He played real soft. Looked like he was trying not to get hurt before he heads off to Wash St. I know the kid is good, I saw him twice last year and was real impressed.

I was fortunate to watch some texas state football last year in the Dallas metroplex area. I was impressed beyond belief. DLS would be a good team but they wouldnt be as dominate as they are in NCS.

CV Charter will take down Northgate but I think a bit of a fight will be needed to pull off the W. I was surprised how Concord simply rolled over and played dead with Clayton. I was expecting them to beat Concord but send them back to the stone ages was a surprise.

The Spartans need to have a dominating away game as they wrap up these final two games. SRV is standing dead center of the track as the Spartan Train barrels down on them. Final Score: DLS a Large # and SRV a small #

First off I think you would be fun guy to have a few brews with. Second I have seen the BB vs FB thing go both ways. I have seen guys cross over from Football to play BB and they were just beasts. Rebounding, block out machines that loved contact. I have also seen guys that were complete pu$$ies playing hoop. They didn’t like contact, wouldn’t throw their body around, would get hit in face and become a guy that drives, rebounds, etc, with eyes closed. The same kid would quit BB and start playing football and become a starter at some point when I thought no way they would even make it. All those pads and a helmet can do funny things to people it made me think. Hoop can be pretty darn physical too.
