Kennedy-Richmond linebacker/defensive end Takkarist McKinley said today that “as of right now, I’m still a Cal Bear”, but that he planned to take official visits to Washington and Nevada “and see how those go.”
The 6-foot-3, 240-pound McKinley orally committed to Cal this past summer. He is very fast, having clocked a time of 10.58 seconds wind-legal for 100 meters in the California Interscholastic Federation state track and field championship preliminaries in June.
