I think berkeley and mt eden are one of the hardest team this year. There both undefeated league wise. Is ganna be a good game when they play again.

@cooper OK, yes I agree. Those 3 players have good skill. I was especially impressed with #11. Good leader, has the ability to organize the midfield and good vision, just didn’t have a go to guy up on top. I was also really impressed with Freedom’s #9 Cendejas and #10 Lopez. I was told to keep an eye on Cendejas and honestly he did impress me. He stands out. I wish both teams good luck. Good disciplined players on both teams. Both Porras (EC) and Acevedo (Freedom) are good coaches with respectful backgrounds.

Yv vs pittsburg was a very physical and intertaning game, made second half, game could of gone eaither way, rain may of sped up the tempo and physicality but on the field were two teams that wanted the win. i see two very ambitious teams that could go far in ncs…. Impressed by pittsburg over all, last season i attended their 0-4 defeat to yv either pitt has improved its game and talent or some of yv’s talent has graduated… These are the type of games that pump up the fans on both sides.

@Goalboy Don’t get me wrong, Freedom looked very solid. What I was trying to imply is that it probably would’ve been a more interesting game if EC would’ve have their full team. Freedom has a couple key players out there that make a difference. What can you say of #’s 8, 9 and 11??

@cooper Freedom had 3 starters out due to injuries and 2 out on vacation today as well. I’m pretty sure #’s 8, 9 & 11 for EC played in today’s game.

Hi mval alumni first off I would like to say no disrespect to Piedmont I do not know anybody from Hayward or Piedmont I’m just a scout and I do know a lot about soccer you’re saying is 6/3 ratio that is just not true in the first half Hayward had 9 corner kicks 5 shot on goal 1 shot definitely went over the goal line. referee was not in position. also header is a shot last time I checked. that would have made it 2 to nothing Hayward at the half. Piedmont had 6 corner kicks 3 shots on goal
2 shots came from 25 yards out you will not score from that far out. in regards to the mid field come on hayward mid control the game. but that’s not to say Piedmont didn’t hang in there because they did hang in there. again not trying to disrespect nobody I’m just giving my opinion. good luck on your season.
