Well so much for MV @ #5. The take away from the cal loss – never let a lesser team hang around till the end.

Mack beat EC by 20… How are they ranked higher?

Looks like a lot of parity to me. 4-12+Heritage are almost all pretty even. Should be a good season and while Salesian is certainly the best team they have not proven they are an elite team. BOD and Deer Valley are very good not great. DLS is young and not sure where they will be come playoffs. Should be a good season with a lot of competitive games being the norm rather than the exception and as fans we should all be happy about that. With the new foothill division there are going to be great games to watch every night with SL, BOD, Berk, CV and Mt. Eden. Nice for the fans, tough for whomever takes their lumps.

I think all of these teams are very good, and sometimes the rankings are truly based on the schedule strength. But as of now I do feel Salesian is the best team right now in the Bay Area.
