It was nice to see Oderah Chidom of BOD in the 12/24 edition of Sports Illustrated featured in Faces in the Crowd:
ODERAH CHIDOM
OAKLAND > BASKETBALL
Oderah, a senior forward at Bishop O’Dowd High, the defending California Interscholastic Federation Division III champion, scored 13 of her game-high 20 points and grabbed eight of her 16 rebounds in the final 12 minutes to help the Dragons pull away to a 51-40 win over Archbishop Mitty High, last year’s CIF Division II champs. A member of the U-17 national team that won the FIBA worlds in August, Oderah is ranked No. 10 in the class of 2013 by ESPN HoopGurlz. She will compete at Duke.
