DLS has always touted great players. The cry is they take average players and make them a whole lot better than opponents with great coaching, fundamentals and training. Again, a college style program with a perfect storm. Everyone on the DLS football team is expected to contribute in games and practice. Every bloack and every tackle counts. That’s why the reserves are so good, everyone and I mean everyone buys in.

Most high school LB’s lack those instincts, especially one as big and stout against the run as he was.

but can’t help but see that is the 4th guy from DLS to win the award. Well deserving all of them no doubt, congrats to them all. But its funny a team full of small, unathletic, overachievers has been able to accomplish so much. how many teams have had 4 Mr. Football’s? Not superior talent though, ONLY coaching and the brotherhood.
