Tuesdays game at DLS with SRV is the ticket for the week.
Big question is on who gets first blood and will the game submit itself to defensive tactics. Or will the game open up offensively until the final few min.

Regarding the other side of the Tunnel Richmond has style but have lapses in quality of intensity. They need to be rock solid for all 80min. Berkeley I think may be more tactically sound.

Piedmont 1-0 to San Lorenzo on Friday with a hostile San Lorenzo fan base. Piedmont’s gk made three phenomenal saves. Should have been 2 or 3 more for Piedmont. Defense looked tough to break down. Thats a 3 game winning streak.

Amador had solid week….went into Concord and tied a tough DLS team 1-1 then beat Granada on the road 2-1.This upcoming week will exciting for the Dons having 2 home games against tough EBAL opponents MV and Cal.My prediction is AV beating MV at the Fabled pitch 2-1.Will save prediction for Cal on Weds.The Dons have the skill and depth to compete against all the teams in the NCS.What they do lack in games that I have seen is the inability to play as a cohesive unit that is always looking for open man.A few of the players play with their head down as opposed to looking up.A simple tweak and the Dons could be more explosive.Goals have eluded them.Looking for a breakout soon

Lame arguments aside, Berkeley and Richmond will show us who has more “speed” on Monday. By my eyes, the Yellow-Jackets have more pure speed, but the Oilers have more soccer speed. I saw Berkeley win 2-1 hosting Mt. Eden 30+ hours ago and Richmond win 4-1 at Foothill 8+ hours ago, so their team-speed is fresh in my feeble mind.

Gladly, this argument will be decided on the pitch on Monday.
