Memorial Service set for Rich Swift

A memorial service for longtime Newark Memorial High School educator and coach Rich Swift will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 10 at Newark Memorial High School’s Event Center. The service is open to the public.
Swift died on Feb. 13 of an inoperable brain tumor. He was 60 years old.

Very sad news to hear about the death of Coach Swift. He had done a great job as the coach of the NM football team, and it will be hard to replace a man like him.

Great guy, Great coach. Hard to imagine standing on a Newark Memorial sideline without him there. I’m glad he knew Christ.
