For the second time in eight days, a De La Salle High football player has orally committed to a Pac-12 school.
Sumner Houston, a defensive lineman, has committed to Oregon State according to BeaverBlitz.com.
Houston was a third-team all-East Bay pick by the Bay Area News Group and an honorable mention all-East Bay Athletic League selection last year as a junior.
Houston told BeaverBlitz.com, “I felt like it was a great place and I like the work ethic they have. That’s very much like it is at De La Salle High School. I just like it up there. I like the rainy weather and the all-around experience.”
Last week, De La Salle teammate Kevin Griffin orally committed to Washington State.
