chalktalk, head out to Winton Dr. tonite, game at 7:30 pm, psyco-therapy in the stands available.
Watch the team that would destroy mthe Texas All-Stars.
You and I can have a beer after game at Rocho’s. Great pizza, great beer and lots of bar flys.
U most likely have never been invited after a game before on the other side of the tunnel. Gooid opportuniy to meet and discuss football.
I promise YoMama and Big Dog and Little Dog won’t hassle u.

  • chalktalk

    BigJoe
    thx 4 the invite
wish i had log on sooner
    got call in to work
    but keep me posted

  • EB FB

CVC hung with De La. Serra has a good chance of beating De La. If De La is playing a big mans game, then Serra may Beat them. Serra is bigger with decisively more leverage.

  • EB FB

Curious to see how Miramonte defends Alameda’s Doss? Any thoughts?

  • EB FB

    Jack Stephens has a shot

  • EB FB

Campo is loaded. EC may pick up a L there…

  • EB FB Fan LOL

CV did not hang with De La. De La shot themselves in the foot play after play. Shoulda been somewhere in the 50′s to 14.

  • chalktalk

DAM I SURE DO MISS COACHing
    but not with u dudes
SO WATCH ME PULL A RABBIT OUT OF MY HAT
    nothing up my sleeve.
” dont u just luv the rocky and bullwinkle show”

  • chalktalk

    did anyone see the
    Dougherty Valley game

  • http://aol Big Joe

Chalk, sloppy game by DLS. Need to get better quick for Serra. Defense needs improvement at the LB position and DB. Lost a lot to grad.

  • formerdragon2006

BOD lost 15-7 and Mt Eden dominated 26-6. Interesting oh but the coach at odowd played in the nfl which makes everything better.

  • The Dude

Castro Valley 57 Monte Vista 56…..WILD game.

  • http://aol YoMama

any updates on MC and Mira?

  • chalktalk

congratulations SLZ THE NAIL bite-er 13-18
the punter/TE get the MVP punting the ball to the one yard line penning kennedy deep and the winning TD catch.

  • Oh Boy

Pitt, Monte Vista and Analy have to drop out of the top 10 and I would slide SRV up to 2. Amador Valley beating Joe Mixon’s Freedom team for 2 consecutive years should get them a nice bump. Campo is good as usual but Newark, Granada and Miramonte are not Top 15 squads. Kudos to Alameda and Mt. Eden!

  • renegades10

Tried to tell you guys this isn’t the same MV Mustangs people are used to. I don’t know what happened to the talent pool but it has dried up of late. They’ll always have a bit of a chance because Bergman is one of the best offensive coaches in NorCal, but unless the start getting some better players this will be the norm.

  • ManDown

    Marin Catholic 45 Miramonte 14

  • Prep Fan

R10, you’re right. I know you were warning that MV was ranked too high. They haven’t been the same team for the past few years and although Bergy always gets that offense clicking, their defense is soft. CV is going to be a decent team this year, but 57 is far too many points to give up, even if you’re playing the Green Machine.

I’m thinking Oh Boy (#65) meant to say Freedom will drop rather than Analy. Tough week for the BVAL.

  • cvman

CV will be better than decent if they spruce up their defense. They have to make better use of their limited personnel.

  • Coach Phillip

Don Sanders was my freshman OL coach at Mt Eden. He’s one heck of a coach and a great mentor for young men. I expect good things coming out of Heritage. They were already doing good things under Coach Haagenson, another Mt. Eden guy.

DLS is in a whole different class than the other teams in the surrounding area. But, Tim Murphy is a great coach. Expect CVC to be a top school for years to come with him at the helm. I had a chance to get out to one of his practices and I came away impressed with how hard they work on hammering home the fundamentals.

  • Coach Phillip

Oh, and Nick McMaster is doing a great job at CV. He’s a good guy with a good football mind. He’ll get things going in the right direction. Nothing prettier than watching NorCal football. DLS’ split veer, CVC’s double/single wing, CV’s wing-t, etc. Good stuff for us football nuts.

  • Oh Boy

Prep Fan is right. I meant Freedom, not Analy.

Also, very disappointed in EC’s Cal-commit Jalen Harvey getting ejected from the Sutter game. He has to sit against Bellarmine next week and killed their chances of a W. That was going to be a good intersectional matchup. It’s what people are criticizing the ultra talented Johnny Manziel about, even though it hasn’t cost Texas A&M games yet. “Jalen Football” and EC didn’t learn anything from the bad will they generated with their antics last year

  • Chalk Talk

    Alameda 33 Dublin 20
We took Dublin out by the wood shed. The game wasn’t that tight. The score was 33-6 and then Moyer put in the 2nd stringers. I think Hernandez to Doss is worth twice the admission. Next up Redwood. We will go for 50 on them. Where are all of you Moyer haters today.

    Next week

    Alameda 54 Redwood 6

  • Chalk Talk

Yeah, maybe El Cerrito will learn that taunting doesn’t make your team better. It only hurts your chances of going undefeated and making it to the state championship game. That little act of poor sportsmanship will haunt EC for the remainder of their lives. I can hear it now “We could have gone to state but…”

    Bellarmine 31 El Cerrito 13

  • Souz

I think Island Chief has grown an infatuation lol

  • http://aol BigDog

look what happened to Cal last mnite, illegal hit f
rom Cal defender on Northwestern QB, exjected, changed the mo and Cal losses. The player is taking curtain calls being lead off the field. I hope Sonny Dykes does something about that, how about benching player on the biggest game of the season next week against Ohio St. Cal doesnt need him!
There is no place for ghetto-assed football or BS trash talking on any level.

  • http://aol BigJoe

those kind of antics like Johnny at AM and Cal hurt 100 guys in that locker room. You shit on your teamates period.

  • http://aol YoMama

This kind of behavior is like a guy’s old lady coming home and not washing her pantyhose after standing out on west mac. she dont need to rub it in!

  • chalktalk

IN the defense of those who do lose it in the heat of the battle some people do someTHINGS on the field that just anit gonna be tolerated. WHEN U PLAY THAT CLOSE TO THE EDGE OF INSANITY ITS TO B EXPECTED not accepted . the same forces that make u do stupid mistake are the same forces the make u make great plays!!!!!

  • EB Prep Fan

The Cal DL boasting as he left the field made everybody in the program look stupid, but I don’t think it had much impact on the game. That play was completed for a first down and it was just another 15 yards. If they didn’t convert and that stupid play gave them a first down, it would have been HUGE.

I think the 2 tips for pick 6′s in the second half were what cost them the game, not some idiot bowing waaaay down the backside of the stadium.

Trash talking is a part of the game that isn’t going away. Like it or not, it has to be managed because it isn’t going away. “Ghetto-ass” football even found its way to rich suburbia with JManziel so its got nothing to do with anyone’s GHETTO. Football is an extremely intense game and the ups and downs of a football game are going to bring out tons of expression always. You take that expression away from college kids and they may not play the same. It’s a savage sport! The best thing you can do is put limitations on the expression and steer it away from the other team.

  • EB Prep Fan

That’s what I was trying to say CHALK. You probably put it better.

  • chalktalk

if you measure a man by the distance he travels
value the quality of his stride over the callus
    on his feet…
THATS IS ABSOLUTELY BIAS cuz i dont work that hard i just try and b efficient…

  • EBfollower

Seen the San Leandro-Valley Christian game, SL still has a ton of work ahead of them. That first half VC really outplayed them and couldn’t stop Volpatti at all. SL wore them down in the second half but still had to hold them off late. For some reason as good as Johnson could be, SL’s offense clicked a lot better in the second half when Costa came in. Bowers has a great coaching staff in two former Hayward coaches in Casey Moreno and Bill Bishop.

    I like me some me.

  • Reggie Hammond

that ejection was weak. had that not been northwestern it wouldn’t have even been called. but NW is square bizz. Ca; is town bizz. only person tripping is big joe. figure it out.

  • Reggie Hammond

same as playing piedmont. thats why cal is wrong. they should of known better. shame on cal for that. they shouldn’t be playing those scrubs anyway

  • Chalk talk

I got the stranglehold on him. I Lock him down in tight man on this blog. He can’t see. He can’t get away. He can’t work another sideline. He got fired and the team that fired him won without his pistol offense. They got rid of the burnt crust and are better for it.

  • SportsFAN

    Mack 62 – Highlands 6 (so much for the Highlands 35 – Mack 24 predictions)… You guys don’t know Sh*T!!! LOL

  • chalktalk

im so so very sorry i apologized to some coaches and i apologized to the kids and their parents 4 even recommending this dude get the job. when he interviewed he told the panel he was running the pistol spread. AND now he running a goal line offense that he has been running on the video game madden it made me sick to my stomach watching it. MY BUDDY AT THE GAME said “anit those his madden plays” well ill be dammed… FIRST OFF WHEN UR RB weIght 140 u dont play power football kennedy had 9 and 10 men in the box the whole game THEY JUST TEE OFF ON THE POOR LITTLE BACKS. EVERY COACHING STAFF IN THE STANDS THOUGHT IT WAS pure COMEDY. so dont go praising him yet. the back fumble 4x cuz his hands swoll up to 3x the nornal size FROM GETTING HIT SO MUCH… THE COACH WOULD KNOW THAT IF HE WAS A REAL FOOTBALL PLAYER. the coaching style is i hope the other teams is alot worse than us cuz if not i cant win… NO KID WILL EVER GET A SCHOLARSHIP UNDER THIS GUY u should call ur peers ask them if they respect u shit ur own coaching staff dont respect u. WHAT TYPE OF GRADES DID U GET IN SCHOOL OR DID U RIDE THE YELLOW BUS WITH A HELMET…

  • chalktalk

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DRIVING A RACE CAR AND DRIVING A SCOOTER DAM. EVERY ONE HAS to drive a scooter cuz the headcoach only got a learners permit ill be dipped in shit and rolled over in sprinkles.

  • Big Poppa

Coach Trotman did what he had to do to win. Our line was wearing Kennedy out. Running the ball was a smart move. Why run the pistol when the goaline offense was gettin yards. The rb do have to hold onto the ball but if he does we win by 3 more touchdowns. I do think the goaline offense takes our best receivers off the field but can’t argue cause it worked. The team was able to rally from behind a lot better than last year. I think if this was last year’s staff we would have lost. I think the new coach has passed the first test.

  • chalktalk

    Big poppa
u run the pistol so ur RB last the whole season
u do understand u dont have to get hit in the face to win a fight.GET PEOPLE OUT OF THE BOX SO UR SHIFTY BACK CAN WORK IN SPACE — U DONT INVITE MORE PEOPLE IN THE BOX SO THEY CAN BEAT UP ON HIM come on coach!!!
you do realize SLZ got the ball on the kennedy 34 then got it again on the kennedy 35 for both scores in the forth Q…
THE MORE PLAYS U RUN ON OFFENSE U INCREASE UR CHANCES OF MAKING MISTAKES THATS JUST A FACT.

WELL IM HAPPY UR PLEASED WITH THAT PERFORMANCE
some people prefer baloney over steak

havE u ever heard the phrase WON THE BATTLE BUT LOST THE WAR. Ramiah Marshall is a 10 yd a carry back gpa over 3.0
he well never play a down in college running the goal line offense SEPARATED SHOULDERS AND BROKEN COLLAR BONE injuries—
IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN U HAVE A SELFISH COACH. u dont care about the kids this is a selfish ego driven staff
    1. IM GOING TO START 22 DIFFERENT PLAYER NO ONE WILL START BOTH WAYS BECAUSE I DONT WANT ANY ONE PLAYER TO HAVE THAT MUCH POWER plus im such a good coach i can make anyone serviceable.” how crazy is that” well what about going to the next level what about the players film what will the scouts think. THESE DUDE ARE EXPERIMENTING WITH PEOPLES LIVES.
    2. the HC HAS BEEN A qb COACH FOR 12 YEARS Y IS he running a goal-line offense ” dont talk 2 my QB what are u telling my QB” ummm maybe how to play QB.lol

(its like a kid getting beat by his drunk father and no-one comes to stop the abuse.) i tried 2 stop it i got kicked out the house…( TOLD ME IF U DONT LIKE THE WAY he ABUSEs THE KIDS KICK ROCKS.) so here im am a rock kicker an part-time blogger

  • Big Poppa

If Ramiah fumbles it don’t matter what offense you run. He got to hold onto the ball. I thought you were a coach? You sound stupid. Ramiah was running fast thru the holes better than anyone on the team. I can’t believe you call yourself an adult. To be honest I don’t see anyone except maybe To’o with a shot at college football. That’s it. Please keep SLZ out of your mouth as I hope you make yourself known at the next game so we can close it. You are beginning to make me angry.
