Pittsburg High running back Harris Ross has flipped his college commitment to Oregon State.

The senior with 1,368 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns in six games had originally orally committed to Hawaii. He made the switch on Wednesday night after being offered by the Pac-12 school.
Ross suffered a leg injury in the second half of Pittsburg’s win over Heritage last week, but said he expects to be back in action when the Pirates take on Liberty on Friday.
