De La Salle vs. St. John Bosco will be televised live

The much anticipated Open Division state championship football game between De La Salle and St. John Bosco-Bellflower will be televised live on Comcast SportsNet-Plus at 8 p.m. Saturday night. (The San Jose Sharks game is on CSN California at the same time). The broadcast team includes Barry Tompkins (play-by-play), Mike Pawlawski (analyst) and Kelli Tennant (sideline reporter).

Comcast will also provide live coverage of the other four state championship games. Here are the details:

Friday, Dec. 20, 4 p.m. DIVISION IV: Central Catholic-Modesto (14-1) vs. Bakersfield Christian (12-2) on CSN Bay Area

Friday, Dec. 20, 8 p.m. DIVISION I: Del Oro-Loomis (13-2) vs. Bakersfield (12-2) on CSN Bay Area

Saturday, Dec. 21, noon. DIVISION III: Sacred Heart Prep-Atherton (13-1) vs. Corona del Mar-Newport Beach (15-0) on CSN California

Saturday, Dec. 21, 4 p.m. DIVISION II: Enterprise-Redding (13-0) vs. Chaminade-West Hills (13-2) on CSN California and CSN-Plus (for cable subscribers in the Sacramento Kings market).
