The annual MLK Classic at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley is less than two weeks away, and features a great lineup, as usual.

10:30 a.m.: Castro Valley vs. St.Mary’s -Berkeley

12:15 p.m.: El Cerrito vs. Sacred Heart Cathedral-S.F.

2 p.m.:  Newark Memorial vs. Jesuit

3:45 p.m.: Capital Christian vs. Bishop O’Dowd

5:45 p.m.: Long Beach Poly vs. De La Salle

7:30 p.m.: Salesian vs. Sacramento

The marquee matchup is looking like the late afternoon game between Bishop O’Dowd and Capital Christian. O’Dowd is No. 5 in Cal-Hi Sports’ latest state rankings and Capital Christian is No. 9, making them the two highest ranked NorCal squads. The Dragons feature 6-foot-10 Ivan Rabb, one of the hottest junior prospects in the country. Capital Christian is 14-2 and led by Michigan-bound D.J. Wilson.

Presale tickets are available at the De La Salle bookstore from Jan. 13-17 and at the following website: https://prepmo.com/events/5

General Admission (bleacher seating) is $10 for adults ($7 presale), $5 for students, seniors, children. Reserved chair back seating is $20 ($15 presale)  and includes all day in and out access.
