Another step back for Bishop O’Dowd girls basketball

The Bishop O’Dowd High girls basketball team received another blow to its hopes of playing again this season.
Gil Lemmon, the North Coast Section commissioner, said Wednesday he sent a letter to administrators at Bishop O’Dowd saying that he could not support its efforts to qualify to the California Interscholastic Federation Open Division.

    Private schools dont have half the rules public schools need to abide by. Especially when it comes to enrollment. I wonder why Bishop and De La Salle win. I give much more credit to schools like Campo, Miramonte and San Leandro who folllow the rules with players from there district. Now they break one of the very few rules they must follow and they get it wrong. Wah wah wah
