The record-breaking De La Salle running back confirmed Saturday evening that he has accepted a grayshirt offer to play for Oregon State.
The Spartans officially released their 2010 football schedule on Monday. We highlighted their three nonleague games in today’s paper. However, for the die-hards out there, here is the complete schedule.
El Cerrito High football coach Kenny Khan informed reporter Ben Enos this evening that Gauchos running back Andre Williams has given an oral commitment to Eastern Washington. Williams will join Bishop O’Dowd running back Mario Brown, who also committed to the Eagles, according to Scout.com.
Khan said Eastern Washington plans to use Williams as a slot receiver and return specialist. Williams finished third in the ACCAL in rushing with 711 yards (6 TDs), and second in receiving with 575 yards (7 TDs). He finished second in scoring with 18 total TDs.
Brown led the HAAL in rushing with 1,200 yards and 14 TDs.
