Girls Volleyball: Clayton Valley, Rankings, Standings

As expected, and as usual, the East Bay Athletic League will be a season-long battle where a number of teams will be in the running for the league title. This is to be expected.
However, there is another league that may be a little more compelling. Not just because a number of teams will be competing for the league title, which there will be, but because it is a league where there is a lot of new blood.
That league is the DVAL, and one of those teams that will be in the mix is Clayton Valley Charter.

Cortez taking over girls, boys programs at Granada

After a 17-year run at the helm of the Amador Valley High volleyball girls program, Rich Cortez is going home.
A graduate of Granada High School, and a resident of Livermore, Cortez has taken a teaching job at Granada and is taking over both the girls and boys volleyball programs.
