Rivalry? Not to Kiff
By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Thursday, September 4th, 2008 at 4:47 pm in Oakland Raiders.
Quick hits from Thursday’s press briefing and group media sessions attended by MediaNews beat writer Steve Corkran:
– As much as the players in the locker room parrot the importance of taking on potentially taking out a division rival, Lane Kiffin doesn’t get it. Never took the bait last year, won’t bite this year.
“I don’t worry about it. It doesn’t matter to me who we play,” Kiffin said. “It’s about us and about us preparing. We just play whoever they put on the schedule. I’ve just never understood the whole thing about (how) we’re going to practice really hard this week because we’re playing a team in the division. Then when we go to play Buffalo, what are we going to do, not try as hard? I’ve just never understood that.”
– Wide receiver Javon Walker (hamstring) and defensive end Kalimba Edwards (groin) were held out and Kiffin hoped they would practice Friday.
If Walker can’t play, Kiffin said Ashley Lelie, Todd Watkins and Chaz Schilens were all getting work at split end, with Johnnie Lee Higgins backing up Ronald Curry at flanker. If Edwards can’t play, Kiffin said either Trevor Scott would assume the role of nickel rusher or “we would leave Jay Richardson out there” at right end.
Walker seemed to think he would be good to go, saying the training staff was taking its time, getting things right.
Kiffin continued to resist lapsing into optimistic coach-speak where Walker is concerned. When asked how good Walker could be if healthy, Kiffin said, “I don’t know. We haven’t had him that long. I’ve never been in a real game with him so I don’t know if I can answer that.”
Later, when someone took a run at assessing Walker’s impact, Kiffin took let the softball go past rather than swing away.
“Like I said I haven’t played a game with him,” Kiffin said.“He did have a good game, a good half in Week 3 of preseason, he played well. (He) didn’t have a catch leading up to that and now he’s injured again, so it’d be hard for me to speculate on that.”
Walker was asked if he thought Kiffin was attempting to motivate through criticism.
“I don’t know. If Lane wants to be hard on me, that’s fine, because I’ve always had coaches be hard on me,” Walker said. “All I know is if I wasn’t a Raider, he could just go look at what I did against him and other teams. Be hard on me then. He was probably hard on me when I was in Denver. Shoot, he’s seen the tape. He (saw) me in full effect last year.”
If you’re wondering where Walker is going with that answer, you’re not alone. In his own way, Walker can be circular and as difficult to follow as Randy Moss when it comes to delivering a quote.
– Bottom line _ Walker is a wide receiver and like many others at his position, occasionally high-maintenance. None of that matters if he produces. He’s an eccentric who makes big plays. If he doesn’t produce, Walker is instead a distraction-in-waiting on a team notorious for separate agendas.
– Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan is of the belief that much of the well-documented difficulties defending the run last year were because the Raiders didn’t score enough.
“Stats, you can do anything you want with them. If you get leads, obviously, you’re going to face more passing game. We haven’t had that luxury around here lately,” Ryan said. “As always every year, we’re making a big emphasis on stopping everything they do, run and pass.
“We got players we’re making more responsible for their gaps. We got real good tacklers in the secondary, that’s going to help. Our linebackers are coming on. With this team, obviously, you have a team that’s committed to running the football. Every year they open up the season with a 100-yard rusher. We’ve heard all that. We’re just ready to play.”
– If the Raiders throw any more bouquets at Denver cornerback Champ Bailey, he’ll be eligible as a float in the Tournament of Roses parade. A day after newly acquired wide receiver Ashley Lelie and Raiders cornerback DeAngelo Hall proclaimed Bailey the NFL’s top corner, Kiffin chimed in.
“Champ is as good as we’ve ever played against in a game,” Kiffin said. “He never gets help, hardly ever. He’s out there on an island. Last year they ran a lot of blitz zero with no one anywhere near him. Unfortunately one time we tried to go after him with a double move when we were backed up there and he intercepted it, which is unusual for a guy to do all by himself on a double move.
“He is just as complete a guy as you’ll ever see. He can cover and he can tackle. He’s not just a cover corner. He tackles as good as anybody. He’s perfect the way I look at it.”
– Asomugha, not surprisngly, stayed above the fray and said he really hadn’t watched Bailey all that closely.
“I won’t take the time to watch a corner to see what he’s doing because we’re all made different, Asomugha said. “And I can’t compare myself to anyone just because of the way I’m wired, long legs, that type of thing. I’m not as quick as the shorter guys so don’t really watch those guys. I know that Champ is a good player though. I’ve seen enough of him to know that.”
– The Raiders dispatched punter Shane Lechler, kicker Sebastian Janikowski and snapper Jon Condo to McAfee Coliseum to practice on the field along with special teams coach Brian Schneider.
– Tickets remaining for the Raiders-Broncos game Monday night are “give-backs” returned by the visiting team. The Raiders officially sold their allotment and declared the game a sellout. It will be the 13th time in 17 games since taking over ticket sales from the defunct Oakland Football Marketing Association that the Raiders have been televised in their home market despite a 10-38 overall record over that span.

September 4th, 2008 at 5:28 pm
i think all defensive cordinators are going to put 8 men in the box plus run blitz and make JM beat us with his arm. with his inexperiance so far and our recievers also this could be a rough start.
September 4th, 2008 at 5:28 pm
As long as Kelly and Sands make it through the Burro’s game healthy we should be ok.
If either of them go down, its going to get ugly real fast.
September 4th, 2008 at 5:29 pm
– If the Raiders throw any more bouquets at Denver cornerback Champ Bailey, he’ll be eligible as a float in the Tournament of Roses parade.
Great line. Should I credit Jerry or Steve?

Roger that….
September 4th, 2008 at 5:33 pm
Koolaide
They start putting 8 in the box they will get burned. The O-Line will slow them down and with JR’s ability to move it will give the WR’s time to get free. We have all seen JR’s “Laser Rocket Arm” and know he can get it to them when they break open down field.
September 4th, 2008 at 5:33 pm
need to fire kiffen sniffen, he is boring as hell, does not know how to coach he wasnt even a coach in the college level, he shared the title with sarkisian and sarkisian done the play calling, i think carrol just kind of let the kid hang around, if he runs the same boring offense on monday nite,,,, al it is time he goes and hangs around somebody elses field

Question: How many Donkeys will follow a Rat faced coach to the slaughter house?
Answer: 53…They want to get their lame ass Donkey lives over with so that they can come back as Raiders.
September 4th, 2008 at 5:35 pm
So is Tom Jackson
September 4th, 2008 at 5:36 pm
Are you sniffing glue again? What the hell is wrong with you? Kiffin has done fine. Who would you have brought in to follow the disaster that was Shell 2? Cut the kid some slack and keep the coaching staff intact long enough to see what he can do in year two.
September 4th, 2008 at 5:40 pm

THE RAIDERS ACCORDING TO THE TWERP
The only “rivalry” is within the Raider organization between an aged megalomaniac owner and an inexperienced youthful head coach.
There is NO rivalry between the Raiders and the dominate team in the division, the San Diego Chargers.
TWERPING REALITY
Raiders: 0-9 vs the Chargers.
By Dec. 5th it will be 11 straight Charger wins over the Raiders, who define confusion and consternation not pride and poise.

The Raiders and Chargers have only played 9 times?
What? They have been playing each other for years you say? Well the Chargers must have the better record considering they won the last 9 right? NO! Well, they must have more Super Bowl wins? NO!
So they have won against Oakland the last 9 times and still haven’t done shat?
Must suck to be a Chargers fan. The highlight of their existence is a win against the Raiders. Not a playoff win or Super Bowl.
Everyone Else’s Reality:
Chargers aint shat!

September 4th, 2008 at 6:38 pm
Better get used to that “boring” offense, it is very similar to what Kiffin will be running this year. West-coast with a young QB and lots of runs.
September 4th, 2008 at 6:40 pm
BBB..
I like that ‘boring’ offense =)
September 4th, 2008 at 6:41 pm
Can we trade Sands for Tuck?
September 4th, 2008 at 6:42 pm
yeah hopefully, between Fargas, Bush and McFadden our offense will be ‘boring’ holes into defenses.
September 4th, 2008 at 6:42 pm
They haven’t had a post since our last one over 40 minutes ago!
September 4th, 2008 at 6:47 pm
For a 3rd round pick to play the way Justin Tuck does it makes you wonder what is wrong with our scouting department. And why the hell isn’t he on our team!
September 4th, 2008 at 6:48 pm
Ill keep Sands…….I believe he comes to play this year
September 4th, 2008 at 6:49 pm
that donkey board is trash no one on it…….well it is going on 8 pm Denver time and they gotta mount something on the farm animals before dinner time
September 4th, 2008 at 6:49 pm
18 pass attempts, mostly dump-offs, several O-line penalties, dropped passes, running on 1st and 2nd down. Yep this offense is eerily familiar.

Can we trade Sands for Tuck?
____________________________________________________
I’ll keep sands too, sands is a run-stopper, Tuck is a pass-rusher.. so even if Tuck is a far better player, the logic seems to me missing..
September 4th, 2008 at 6:51 pm
I told them my name was darkness in denver, you chumps going down.darkness in denver indeed!!!
September 4th, 2008 at 6:51 pm
If Sands isn’t here to play this year he better be shown the door long before seasons end. That is way too much dead weight to lug through the season. Larry Tripplett is available and needs to be on his way to Alameda.
September 4th, 2008 at 6:54 pm
Tuck can get in the backfield and disrupt the play. He as done it many times this game as well in ghe SB last year. What has Sands ever done? Come in out of shape, mope, show no effort/improvment. No thanks.
Tuck may be a pass rusher but he can tackle.
September 4th, 2008 at 6:55 pm
so you want a new Sapp?
September 4th, 2008 at 6:56 pm
*the
not ghe. fat fingers on tiny key board. Now I feel like Sands.
September 4th, 2008 at 6:57 pm
Sapp couldn’t play the run, Tuck can. Sapp was old and busted, Tuck is the new hotness. (will smith in MIB)
September 4th, 2008 at 6:58 pm
fu©k Zorn is a bad Playcaller, “lets go for 5yds play, its less than 2min” whats that about?
September 4th, 2008 at 6:59 pm
lol
September 4th, 2008 at 7:00 pm
this is the first year Tuck is on the field during run-plays, he got yanked each time..
September 4th, 2008 at 7:00 pm
It doesn’t help that Campbell is a garbage QB. He started 2 for 200 or something like that.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:01 pm
Hey, I figured I would share a little tip for any fellow NFL or college football fan looking to go to a game this year…
If you are looking to save some money but want to see a game then wait till the Wednesday night or the Thursday before the game. These are the days when ticket holders start to reduce ticket prices big-time on sites like StubHub, RazorGator and eSellOut… Why? Because many of the guys still holding tickets live outside of the state or area the game is being played and have no chance or ability to attend the game BUT they would much rather take $50-$100 for their tickets instead of nothing. Think about it this way…If you tried to get tickets off a scary scalper on game day your walking around with at least $300-$500 cash without any idea of what you might get. Being from Norwin in Pittsburgh I always use eSellOut because it is locally owned by a fellow IUP alum. Check them out: http://www.esellout.com/ResultsGeneral.aspx?kwds=Pittsburgh+Steelers or use who you are most comfortable using BUT try this method sometime and notice how much money you will save the next time you head off to a game!

Giants can’t afford any more DL injuries. We are going to have major competition getting guys in next week.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:02 pm
This offense is nothing like the Raiders scheme. No outside runs. No attempts to get Portis out in space. Portis never got on track and was unable to make a difference.
Last year he had 6 catches for 37 yards against the Giants. He got nothing tonight.
Kiffin will get McFadden into the game.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:02 pm
LOL this guy on the Donkey board has the funny crap I’ve ever seen in my life……..you can tell he is lying
September 4th, 2008 at 7:02 pm
keep your advertising away please =)
September 4th, 2008 at 7:03 pm
Haha LMN you might like this lie right here……see if you can find the holes
True Story. I was transferred to the Bay Area for work about six years ago. Our company had Season tickets to BOTH the Niners and the Raiders. I had no problem getting any clients to go to the Niners, but had to “BEG” clients to go to the Raiders. If you do not have a criminal record, going to a Raider game is like Stevie Wonder playing at a KKK Rally. When you get to the ticket gate, they don’t even look at your seat location, they just ask, ” Felony or Misdemeanor?” and steer you to your appropriate section.
This is Raiders/ Broncos Week, and in Oakland, this is the ONLY game that the Raiders sell out. No other game except the Cowboys, where half the stands are in Cowboy Blue. Every team has their crazy and unruly fans, but no team even comes close to the uncivilized , thuggish behaviour the Raider Nation exhibits. I have seen grown men, GROWN MEN, spit on and pull off a small child’s jersey because he wore the opposing teams jersey. That’s not love, that’s assault!
I went to a Bronco / Raider game there one year. I can’t remember the EXACT score , but it was like 77 to 3, we beat them. I remember Griese was hurt, and Bubby came in and threw for like 900 yards and delivered a baby during a TV timeout. As I was carrying out one of the Raider fans who had passed out, he suddenly woke up and said to two girls walking past, ” You shee this guy right hheere? He’s a Broknoos fan….” then passed out again.
One young girl, turned to me and said, ” You’re lucky I’m on parole, or I’d kick your A$$” .TRUE STORY
September 4th, 2008 at 7:05 pm
Tuck is an all around player. he was on pass plays last year. Did you see the run stops in the backfield? He’s quickly becoming one of the best in the league.
That was the worst last 6minutes i’ve ever watched. Zorn should be fired tomorrow! It was painful. I was embarrassed for him.
It must suck to be a chargers fan. What do you say, “hey remember our best year ever? WE lost the superbowl by like 27pts!” F’N LOSERS!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:05 pm
Oh my god the holes in this man story is ridiculous………he tries to lie to make an invalid point……….Colorado I tell you……Colorado

2 years ago LT (little tits) cried and whined about the Patriots celebrating victory on their field. boo hooo boo hoo.. . “stop it! stop it! I’m telling! Stop it… (he pounds his foot on the field) stop! i said stop!” then runs to the media w/teary red eyes… “they were making fun of shawn. They were doing his dance! i told them to stop and they wouldn’t! i said STOP! and they kept doing shawnees dance!”
Last year Little Tits decided to show everyone! He said, “oh yeah, i’m not going to play until they apologize! i’m going to sit right here w/my helmet on all day until they apologize!”
Wish that leader was on our team NOT!!!!!!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:13 pm
Palin is hot.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:14 pm
Brien; a lot less teams then. Only AFL as well for them.
they were number one then (on the backs of BAMBI, GO FIGURE!) and now they’re nothing but number 2!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:15 pm
krock: are you teasing me??????
by the way, fewer teams not less. sorry.. i was probably thinking of Palin
September 4th, 2008 at 7:15 pm
LOL @ KROCK
The Raiders scheme is no better than the Redskins dude…
Wake up!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:16 pm
kiffin plays to win. he’s a lot more ballsy. i have confidence in the young feller!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
Lets not forget that the Giants won the Super Bowl last season. And they did it against a team who was 18-0
The Giants are pretty good.
Did the skins play good tonight? No, they didn’t
Their tempo sucked, no 2 minute Offense…looked like their 1st game in a new system…
Still, they are better off than the Raiders!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
i’m changing my name!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
Smell that!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:17 pm

September 4th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
Kiffin is not ballsy…
LOL
What team are you watching JIM
F’in amazing!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:19 pm
I’ll be here Monday night to see how many of you are ballsy…
Ya’ll been TALKING for months about something you have no business discussing…”FOOTBALL”
September 4th, 2008 at 7:19 pm
coach; was that worst last 6 minutes down by 10 you’ve ever seen or what? about 12-15 years ago Minnesota did the same thing against the giants. Except the giants fumbled a punt and vikes were lucky and scored winning td. the announcer praised Dennis Green for outstanding time mgmnt!. i laughed my ass off!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:20 pm
not in preseason brother. watch Monday night (if needed)
September 4th, 2008 at 7:20 pm
Call a spade a spade or get outta here….
If you can’t speak the truth then you aren’t a real Raiders fan
Kiffin sucks….might be the 1st coach since Shanahan to be fired mid season…
Personally, I’d like 2 see them let him go affter we get our asses kicked on Monday night!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:21 pm
Skins better off than the Raiders!
Coach is a dumbass.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:21 pm
I cant be to hypocritical cause I posted on the Donks blog but damn Coach, its an every day thing with you.
Attention Freak. Ok everybody lets take time out the blog to pay attention to Coach. Hi Coach, hows ma, was supper good, good. Damn wheres M.R when you need him. At least he makes it humorous.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:21 pm
Dude ..you are sounding ignorant right now
September 4th, 2008 at 7:21 pm
Then our team might get fired up for this season!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:22 pm
- attempting a 65 yard fg just prior to halftime.
- several 4 downs attempts with game on the line around mid field.
- Several 4 down pass attempts on run situations
September 4th, 2008 at 7:22 pm
I’ll be the one you will all be repsecting when this team is winnless at the bye week!
º¿º
September 4th, 2008 at 7:23 pm
yeah, C ya guys, have a nice one =)
September 4th, 2008 at 7:23 pm
Yah. Kiffin sucks. The Raiders suck. We will be 0-16 yadayadayada …just get off the soapbox will ya’?
September 4th, 2008 at 7:23 pm
Later…had to bring you guys back outta the clouds…

September 4th, 2008 at 7:24 pm
I hope you are here tard.
I guess the Broncos fans have forgotten the beat down they got last time the Raiders played them.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:24 pm
If you’re a bi wouldn’t ever week be a bi-week?
September 4th, 2008 at 7:25 pm
Really. The Raiders beat the Chiefs and almost dominated the Donkeys their second go round. The team improves by a great deal in the offseason - the 2nd year in a new system to boot - and YOU keep saying they suck and don’t stand a chance to beat a team they manhandled last year. Give me a freakin break.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:26 pm
K-Rock: last two times… except they won one of them!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:27 pm
Palin is a hotty
September 4th, 2008 at 7:27 pm
How about that Giants D, you know, the one that just smashed the ’skins without 2 of their starting linemen, 1 LB and an injured safety? Yup, that is the same team that won the superbowl.
Moron
September 4th, 2008 at 7:29 pm
and a safety that came west
September 4th, 2008 at 7:30 pm
Fact: Raiders outplayed the Donkeys TWICE last year! FACT! When was the last time that happened? Oh, wait …but Kiffin completely sucks.
JaMarcus Russell, Zach Miller, Darren McFadden, Micheal Bush, Oren O’Neal, Justin Griffith ..all acquired under Kiffin’s watch …but wait Kiffin completely sucks. You are looking at talent out the ass acquired on this roster ..but wait Kiffin completely sucks.
Get real dude.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:31 pm
The skins can’t buy a team. Their qb is garbage, Portis is ok, too much like Jordan for my taste(only portis can block), Zorn is no Kiffin. Keep his name out of the same converstaion as the boy wonder. Let the kid coach and STFU!
September 4th, 2008 at 7:33 pm
It looked like the team was struggling with the new offensive system. Those dump offs with the game on the line was like wtf are you doing - and some looked like called plays. Either no one was open or Campbell needs to get his head together.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:33 pm
fyi: we only broke open the bank for one new player (walker).
harris and wilson were market value
September 4th, 2008 at 7:35 pm
they were totally unprepared. i don’t care what offense it is… t he calls were coming in late and the whole offensive unit didn’t have any urgency. SLOW TEMPO. That was the first thing Kiffin changed. TEMPO. that’s the difference. Zorn had the same look as shell (different types of offenses but same slow method to it.)
September 4th, 2008 at 7:35 pm
Zorn needs to get his sht together too. The end of that game was embarrassing for an experienced team. He keeps that up, he’ll have a mutiny on his hands. ..nah they’re the skins not the Raiders.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:35 pm
I also noticed campbell following his guys when in the pocket.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:36 pm

September 4th, 2008 at 7:37 pm

September 4th, 2008 at 7:37 pm

September 4th, 2008 at 7:39 pm

September 4th, 2008 at 7:45 pm
blah, blah, blah I know I am a sorry WR, I can’t wrap my head around this football thing since I quit in Greenbay because they wouldn’t pay me what i think I’m worth. Thank God Al could see that I wasn’t worth that money either……..er I mean I am worth that money. Ignore the fact that Lelie has more yards, TD’s and YPC ave then I do with 1 year less in the league. Not to mention he played in SF and ATL.
Anyone else tired of hearing from walker……..After he gets on the field and shows us something he can talk all he wants. until then ………Jerry stop talking to the whinney @$$.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:55 pm
I was just at a medical convention in denver (orange pony land). Trust me it was awful (the convention was on how to disimpact stool with different methods such as enemas, supposotories, and the denver favorite digital stimulation)! Butt the worst part about the whole thing was all the donkey fans and how cocky they are. I had one fella try to tell me that Cutler wasn’t mentally retarded he just had a 22 pound head because of his diabeties.
On a side note: the sales of valtrex is the highest in the country in Denver! That means they have the most herpies in the United States!
I will see all you faithful RaiderNation on Monday! Raider fans moral of the story, don’t kiss, fight or even rub shoulders with donkey fans without a condem or a stable barrier. You might get donkey coodies(honestly)!

i have a picture of me w/raider gear on standing next to donkey goal post! Oct 15, 2006! I went to my VP section, popped a shot of Jameson during kickoff (ritual) and yelled “denver sucks!” Wasn’t liked much then, during, or after the game. WE lost 13-3 but i won $100 (13pt line)

What up ya’ll! U guys are on a funny note tonight. So what, now we have taken a page from the troll patrol and we ourselves have become trolls and are now trolling the Donkey site??…. that’s just FREAKING GREAT! Though to be fair, we probably are not really trolls since you are posting under your real names, and not taking anybody else’s… well, at least the ones of you that actually posted there. Whatever the case, FUNNY STUFF! Keep it up nation.
I just read Gary Peterson’s post, now that’s some funny shiet too.
But what’s funnier than both, is the comments by some of the Donkey’s about them shutting our running game down. HAHAHA…. they are going to be in for a rude awakening come Monday night….

Tickets remaining for the Raiders-Broncos game Monday night are “give-backs” returned by the visiting team. The Raiders officially sold their allotment and declared the game a sellout. It will be the 13th time in 17 games since taking over ticket sales from the defunct Oakland Football Marketing Association that the Raiders have been televised in their home market despite a 10-38 overall record over that span.

Whether you want Kiff fired or not, whether you feel Al is an institution to be respected or an out of touch owner who needed to retire years ago, one thing has been constant…
RAIDER NATION SUPPORTS THEIR TEAM. PERIOD. END OF STORY.

Agree #201. Which is why I think we should be way higher than what espn’s fan rating report put us at. I think we are #1. Really, and not just in football, but most sports, if not all. I think maybe the euros and their soccer might have us bit, at least when it comes to the drunken mayhem. But that’s not really a respectable stat to be proud of, so we won’t count it. But when it comes to heart, loyalty, and sticking with your team through thick and thin, the Raider Nation falls second to none.
I’ve been a fan of soccer in South America, (I am from down there you see) and have known many sport fans here from all sports and teams, and the reason that I fell in love with the Raiders when I moved to Cali, was because I instantly felt the love and passion the nation had. My brother in law introduced me to the Raiders when I first moved here from South America, and I have never looked back.
Silver and Black ’till die!
All that is left to say, is GO RAIDERS!!!!!

Thirteen sellouts in seventeen games is two years, 10-38 is three years. Someone’s math is off, but I get the general idea. When it comes to marketing, the Raiders know what they’re doing, and the fans are LOYAL.

There has been a lot of speculation that Kiffin is going to run a predictable, vanilla offensive. Many runs and even fewer passes, and as a result, these same people are ragging on him, without even getting past the first game against the donkeys and Shanarat.
On a few occasions, Kiffin has shown us that he can play the media and sandbag when necessary. He has played this role before, many times. The one most remembered, is the drafting of Darren MaFadden. Anyone listening to his pre-draft speculation would have bet the farm that we were going to draft Dorsey or some lineman, be it for offensive or defense, but, for sure, it was going to be in our area of most need. You know the story, we took the best player available, we took Darren MaFadden.
Kiffin is playing the media and many of you are going for the “okie-dokie.” He’e really playing Shanarat, making Shanarat’s game planning more difficult. This is obvious, he only ran MaFadden between the tackles, while talking about MaFadden’s ability to do so many things. He stated many times that McFadden is better than they ever expected. We know McFadden can ran, catch and even pass. So, if you guys predicting all the gloom and doom, will just take your heads out of you know what, you’ll clearly see that Kiffin is just
playing his little game.
Come Monday, we’re going to pass more than you think, which will only make our running game more effective, and Kiffin is going to use McFadden in many, many ways. Especially in
areas where he can get MaFadden one-on-one with linebackers and out in open spaces. Stop the “gloom and doom.” Hold off
all the negative speculation about a vanilla offense and give the freaking dude a chance, at least until Monday’s game.
I’m IN…are you? Go Raiders.

Yo Riverside, I totally agree! Our preseason offense was so vanilla even tom walsh could of come up with it! J-Roc is still not through the play book! Better believe we have way more than doves and aces up our sleeves. GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!

No wonder donkey fans are so illiterate… they;re afraid to go to school.
sit right back and watch monday night. We’ll take you to school. also show you who the best CB in the NFL is. Hint…. he’s not overated. He’s tall, skinny, quick and actually covers his man the whole route. Lets see cream bailey try to use make up speed on JR.
Lets see cream bailey come up and stick Michael Anheuser Bush.
Lets see.. baby.. lets see

Riverside…
Agree 100%
Kiff is right regarding the rivalry games.
Every game COUNTS…have your team ready EVERY week.
To us recently the only thing reason we could hold our head up was beating up the squaws, dolts or the donkeys..
NO MORE!!
Prepare for winning them all..learn from the losses and get better…
We again have a coach who’s passion matches it’s fans.
I say do whatever it takes to win……
Let the kid take us to the promised land.
Go Raiders!

1 playoff victory in 10 years? are you f’n out of your f’n mind? or did you get 2? Hell, with the scores you get beat by… you should have those two “give me” SB back! You know the “i feel sorry for Elway” gifts the NFL gave you! That’s pathetic!
