No Halloween treats _ McFadden doubtful

– Darren McFadden came dressed as a protective boot. Probably safe to assume he won’t be subjected to a potential slip-and-slide field with one bad turf toe and another that’s getting close to being healed.

No McFadden, Burgess or Brown

Assuming Tom Cable wants to see players practice by Friday to be available on game day, the Raiders will be without running back Darren McFadden, defensive end Derrick Burgess and strong side linebacker Ricky Brown when they face the Atlanta Falcons Sunday.

Raiders-Falcons on TV

The Raiders announced Sunday’s game is a sellout and will be televised locally. A number of “give-back” tickets by the Falcons remain available for sale.

It’s the Raiders eighth straight sellout.

McFadden has two bad toes; Curry frustrated

Just when Darren McFadden’s right turf toe started to get better, he had the same thing happen to the left one.

Ronald Curry, meanwhile, feels he is as healthy as he has ever been, yet has made less of an impact than McFadden recent weeks. He is not happy about it.

McFadden gets the (left) boot

Seeing Darren McFadden walk on to the practice field in a protective boot has been a fairly common occurance.

Except usually it is on his right foot. When McFadden made his way out of the facility Wednesday, the boot was on his left foot.
