Postgame wrap
By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Sunday, October 12th, 2008 at 4:40 pm in Oakland Raiders.
Quick hits from the Raiders’ 34-3 loss to the New Orleans Saints Sunday at the Superdome:
– Interim coach Tom Cable did his best to stay positive in his first postgame press conference, but did have one issue he will be dealing with behind closed doors.
“I thought we could have played harder,” Cable said. “I thought with the way we practiced, and everything we’ve been through, no excuses, I thought we put it behind us and worked with a real purpose this week. The thing we have to do is each look in the mirror and say,’ Hey we’re better than that, we can play harder than that’ and it starts with me.”
– The Saints were better, faster and more prepared _ even though they were coming off a difficult loss on Monday night to Minnesota while the Raiders hadn’t played since Sept. 28.
“I thought we looked like the team that had the bye, not them,” coach Sean Payton said. “I thought we looked like the team that was healthy, not them. I was proud of the energy we had after the short week.”
– Drew Brees threw 30 passes and ventured once into the area of Nnamdi Asomugha, a completion to fullback Mike Karney.
– Strong safety Gibril Wilson had 11 tackles and a tackle for loss, but free safety Michael Huff was only marginally better than he was against San Diego when he failed to register a single tackle.
Huff had three stops and was had primary coverage on Brees’ biggest strike _ a 51-yard rainbow to Devery Henderson.
– Defensive end Derrick Burgess had his right triceps heavily wrapped, and Cable said he didn’t have an update on if his injury will keep him out longer than just one game. Burgess was, at least, pulling his luggage bag with his right arm.
– Darren McFadden rushed for 30 yards on eight carres and failed to catch a pass, dropping one ball after being hit by Jonathan Vilma over the middle. His long gain of eight yards came on a play toss where he ran to the outside.
McFadden continues to be used mostly on one-cut stretch plays and the Raiders don’t seem to be in a hurry to utilize him as the Saints use running back Reggie Bush.
– Ronald Curry caught three passes for 32 yards, all early in the game, then seemed to come up short waiting for impact on a late pass. He lamented the Raiders first-drive failure in the red zone, saying the Raiders had been working on red zone offense all week and it was a “focus” of preparation.
He shrugged off an effect the coaching change may have had, having played for Bill Callahan, Norv Turner, Art Shell, Lane Kiffin and now Cable since joining the team in 2002.
“You get used to it. You kind of get immune to it and expect change,” Curry said. “Unfortunately, that’s just the way it’s been around here.”
– Cable had a difficult stretch in the first half as the Raiders got in position for long-distance field goal attempts by Sebastian Janikowski, one which was wide left from 57 yards and another that was wide left from 59.
First, the Raiders took a time out with 2:09 left in the quarter when they could have let it run to the two-minute warning. A short run by McFadden took it to the two-minute warning before Russell misfired on a deep pass down the left sideline toward a tightly covered Javon Walker.
When Janikowski missed from 57 yards, it set up the Saints at the New Orleans 47 with 1:48 left. Brees connected on consecutive passes to Deverey Henderson and Lance Moore for 35 yards and eventually settled for a 44-yard field goal by Taylor Mehlhaff after his first two incompletions.
The Raiders got the ball back, and Russell hit Johnnie Lee Higgins for 35 yards. When the could get no further than the Saints 41, Cable called time with 11 seconds left, rather than letting Janikowski’s attempt end the half.
When Janikowski missed, the Saints had enough time for Brees to hit Billy Miller for 25 yards to the Oakland 26. Had officials granted Miller’s time out, New Orleans would have had a chance at three more points.
Cable seemed to regret going for the initital field goal.
“I really kind of kick myself there. We were in field-goal range, in terms of Janikowski’s range, right before half, Cable said. “You could argue with yourself that you might have punted there, you know, and make it a long field with about 1:36 to go. But you believe in the guy so you give him a shot. And really, length wasn’t the issue at all. Both of them were just a little bit left. I think those were right decisions but you could argue that one.”
– Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan sat in the coaches locker room area and appeared transfixed by the stat sheet, going over the numbers. He’ll take heat because he always does, but it’s hard to know what else Ryan could have done.
Brees gets rid of the ball so fast he’s almost impossible to sack _ although Tommy Kelly got one late in the game _ and he is such a good decision maker blitzing him frequently is suicide.
Ryan had to rely on his defensive players to rally up and make plays, much as Minnesota did last week. The Raiders simply weren’t up to it.
Asomugha even went out of his way to compliment Ryan.
“Rob Ryan called a good game, and I told that to him. Every now and then when I feel that way, I’ll let him know,” Asomugha said. “He knew what was coming and he knew the calls to make. He called them. It’s just a matter of staying on your guy long enough, but Drew knew what he was doing, too. If he saw good coverage, he was going to hit the shorter route.”
– Defensive end Jay Richardson was hoping to obscure Brees’ vision because sacks were usually out of the question.
“You’re trying to get your rush, trying to work your plan, you beat your guy, and the ball’s out of there anyway,” Richardson said. “All you can really do is get your hands up, try to get in his passing lanes, try and stay in his face. He doesn’t get sacked too often, and there’s a good reason for it.
“There were no big plays, no momentum-swinging plays . . . we were in disarray sometimes.”
– Reggie Bush was a non-factor on punt returns. He had one for eight yards and a fair catch. Lance Moore also had a fair catch. He was outperformed by Higgins, who ran 35 yards when New Orleans opened with a three-and-out.
The Saints didn’t punt again until late in the fourth quarter.
– Wide receiver Ashley Lelie did not finish the game with an unspecified injury but seemed fine in the locker room after the game.

I wonder if Al is going to talk to Cable at the airport about his time management like he did with Kiff!
October 12th, 2008 at 4:57 pm
Wasn’t Knapp calling the plays?
October 12th, 2008 at 4:58 pm
1-15. Garbage operation!
October 12th, 2008 at 4:59 pm
First 1/2 57 yard field goal=bonehead football. Typical Faders.
October 12th, 2008 at 4:59 pm
Different game if we make those long field goals and the defence can stop them and get off the field in the second quarter. Bring on da Jets!!
October 12th, 2008 at 5:01 pm
I love it. Al is sinking to new lows! Black Hole vagina! Go paint yourself and get ready for a butt kicking at the hands of the Jets.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:02 pm
Jamie Fukuisan,
It is a different game..Maybe 34-12
October 12th, 2008 at 5:02 pm
The defense played like they were partying last night on Bourbon St.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:03 pm
More and more poor decisions by this coaching staff. Either punt NO deep in their end of the field or go for it. Enough of the long shot FG attempts.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:03 pm
The defense played like they were partying last night on Bourbon St.
They actually played like they were nutless!

Would the lady who lost her 11 kids please come to the lost & found! They just had their asses handed to them by the Saints.

You guys are worse than I thoughT!
October 12th, 2008 at 5:04 pm
We got beat by a nearly perfect QB. Once it was apparent that we wouldn’t score early, NOT BY BAD PLAY CALLING, but by lack of execution. New Orleans scored and made it 10-3 and then 17-3, I knew it would be a blowout. Brees is too smart, too perfect for a defense that put no pressure on him! He is like Gannon was, exept he throws a better deep ball.
So far this year each time we’ve played a great QB (Cutler, and now Brees) we have been blown off the field. This is all growing pains. This wouldnt hurt nearly as bad if we had won the games we were competitive in. we would be 3-2 with losses to obvious better teams. Instead, the media and all of you will say the sky is falling and something else terrible will happen and then it will. And people will call for Cable’s head because you fail to see the real issue here and Russell will never develop, etc, etc..
I even heard someone saying Walter is our true quarterback. WHAT A JOKE! Are you serious!??? Russell has no protection (Largely) and no one to throw to. Our receivers get ZERO separation from DBs and if they do its like 1 inch and they make the reception and get tackled immediately. When will we have the play-calling and speed to hit guys in stride and see them running up the field after the catch??? Wasn’t it beautiful to watch the Saints pass-catchers today? They did their jobs so well. VERY FRUSTRATING.
It is not Russell’s fault that this is only his 6th start and we ran into an offense that no matter the game-plan we could not stop. They have a rare QB in Drew Brees. I can only dream of the Raiders having that kind of smarts again at the QB position. Heres to hoping Russell studies Drew Bree’s every move and models his career after guys like him and Cutler, and the greats. WORK ETHIC!

The last time Favre was at the coliseum, his father passed away and he and greenbay put up a ton of points.
What in the world is ryan going to do this time to prevent a repeat only in a jets uniform this time?

The Raiders win two more games if they are lucky. I bet the next coach is the co-offensive coordinator from Missouri.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:09 pm
Well I knew we sucked, but I truly didn’t think we could suck this much..
Rob Ryan is clueless, fire him, and get jim fassel =)
as a reminder to the NATION..
this demise started with the draft in 2000.. we picked Janikowski, let Joe Nedney go.. thats when Gruden knew he had to leave at first chance he got.. Nedney hit 4 FG’s tonight, one for 53yds..
October 12th, 2008 at 5:09 pm
Ughhhh.
Boy, Jamarcus looked really raw out there. Indecisive, again not tucking the ball when he leaves the pocket, throwing the ball as hard as he can, no accuracy, not running when it’s wide open, etc, etc. Looks alot like Elway and Favre when they were young. Instead of just hitting the receiver where he stands he’s trying to make the perfect throw in stride. Just get the completion young guy!!! He has been over throwing wide open receivers for 5 weeks now. The coaches need to get him to just concentrate on hitting the belt, then work it up from there later.
We have got to get this kid some weapons. How easy it is to cover the #1 and #2 on this team. There is absolutely no fear by the secondaries of getting beat deep. None!! It’s obvious that Walker and Hall have blown up in the old mans face. Higgins looks like a good start, may as well get the young guys out there and see what we got. We need speed, and lots of it!
Great game plan to attack our LB’s in this game. Easy pickins for Brees and Co. Not a huge surprise, thought it could get ugly this week.
No excuses. Buckle up and get ready for the Jets.
Go Raiders!!
October 12th, 2008 at 5:10 pm
Did anyone see the Lions QB run out of the end zone himself for a safety? Classic!

October 12th, 2008 at 5:14 pm
yes dane good post but i have to disagree with only one thing. yes brees is alot like gannon but what stopped gannon and could of stopped brees is a dominant defense like tampa bay dominated him and the raiders in that SB loss. My problem is that our d should be as dominant or as close to the baltimore ravens–what did they get the better brother??? NOOOO- Baltimore does not have AL DAVIS
October 12th, 2008 at 5:15 pm
nation its not the defense, its the offense until we can keep and move the ball on a consistent basis we will lose every week. Jamarc is young and we need to get dmac
on the outside more stop running him inside all the time. until the offense starts moving the ball we will lose. cause the defense will keep us in the game. if the offense was more consistent scoring some points thats when the season will change for the good. in the raiders defense it was tuff to start for cable at the aints.
well see next week at home against the whack jets.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:18 pm
Go cheatriots
October 12th, 2008 at 5:19 pm
What a freaking wash! Did you guys love that awsome display of offense?, the defense was a non-factor no pass rush what so ever man I have a migraine where’s the asprin?!?!
October 12th, 2008 at 5:19 pm
Kiffin knew what he was doing keeping the training wheels on Jamarcus. He called conservative games and kept us in them. Davis fired the wrong coach. Ryan must have pictures of Al with farm animals. It’s amazing he gets a pass. The Raiders should blitz, blitz, blitz. It also would help if the defensive coordinator was a bit more creative. Looks like we will have double digit losses again.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:21 pm
post 29, yes that was some fu ny s#!T. If i was the owner i would fine him 50k for that move. hilarious.

i am glad to see u guys still have a sense of humr.
oh and dream on with wacking the jesters
go patsies
October 12th, 2008 at 5:24 pm
You have to expect the Saints to score 24-28 points. it’s a potent offense.
You don’t have to expect no TDs, two interceptions (could have been 4), 1 fumble, many overthrown passes.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:26 pm
FIRE CABLE!
October 12th, 2008 at 5:28 pm
What would the Chargers know about a Superbowl season?
October 12th, 2008 at 5:33 pm
charged up, lay off he drugs. you guys go no where with a backup QB. why sont you take your lame A$$ to sign on san diego.
Als the pics you posted last week you girl looks like a stripper.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:37 pm
This looked like 2006 out there…I am now getting Nervous about Jamarcus, as he looked awful out there…he was VERY inacurate missing open recievers left & right. There were some drops as well, but when the reciever has no idea if the ball will be High or low or left or right it makes it harder to catch a ball when it does happen to hit him in the hands. The only way for the Offense to be in “rythmn” is for the QB to be accurate. Speaking of accurate Brees looked a lot like Rich Gannon out there today, as he was just “on” from the get go. (the pass he completed in the 3rd over the LB and in from of the Saftey was amazing…when the QB completes to guys who are covered you know you’re in trouble) I don’t think anyone could have stopped him today so I don’t think the D played that poorly. The main Problem as it has been since Gannon Retired is the Offense and specifically the QB play. The offense was unable to sustain drives and therefore keep Brees on the sidelines. Brees had too many opportunities to stay in rythmn. If there is any good news it’s that he isn’t on the Chargers anymore so we won’t see him again this year…
October 12th, 2008 at 5:39 pm
On the bright side, five years of this has made me look forward to the offseason more.I am starting to develop a bad case of MICHAEL CRABTREE disorder. Is this looking for the silver lining, or sacriledge?
October 12th, 2008 at 5:40 pm
glad dis chargers got rid of brees.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:41 pm
we just got out played in every aspect of the game. you cant blame the defense completely, we were without Burgess who is our best pass rusher, and we faced one of, if not the best O line in football. not to mention drew has to be the most underrated and least talked about QB in football. the dude is unbelievable. we could have done a few things different tho. we really should have tried to run more. i thought cable said a balanced offense. the WR’s looked like chickens with there heads cut off just running around. i dont understand why they threw the ball to lelie so much. everything seemed to be going to him, and the dude caught maybe 1 or 2 passes. once again, walker was a non factor. they might aswell cut him, since they arent playing him or throwing to him. cant have a “balanced” offense when you throw the ball like 30 times and only rush like 17 times. granted we were playing from behind. but even early in the game, all we did was throw. everyone wants to take the training wheels off russell, well look what happens. we dont have the right people yet on offense to air it out. we just dont. i dont believe this game had ANYTHING to do with kiffins firing. we just got completly outplayed and knapp called a horrible offensive game. bottom line. i kno its hard but lets just ATTEMPT to stay positive nation. trust me i kno its hard.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:42 pm
you all need to get off of Jamarcus’s sack. His receiving crew is a joke. Marino couldn’t throw to that corp of bums.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:43 pm
Isn’t great to be a Raiders fan? The constant losing, the bad choices the Raiders continue to make with personel in the off season with FAs and as well as the draft, the never ending disposal of head coaches, the cosistant lack of structure in the front office and the numerous excuses by the owner why its everyone else’s fault that the Raiders continue to be the laughing stock of the NFL, did I mention the fans who just end up sick to thier stomach, yet continues to support the team with the wishful thinking that the Raiders would turn it around after firing a coach in the middle of the season? One word,, SAD! Is it me or has Micheal Huff become the new Stuart Schwiegert with a lil mix of Derrick Gibson? It’s gotta be a great feeling to be a Raiders fan,,come draft day when we’re sitting at the top spot throwing away another 60million dollar contract to kid who probably was hoping to get drafted by someone else. So umm,,,, you guys going to the next game?
October 12th, 2008 at 5:45 pm
i will stay positive all right we will win 1 more game.
having a hard time against who.
Question, if you are namdi do you resign with this clown outfit?
October 12th, 2008 at 5:47 pm
if i am a rookie i would say any place but oakland. with our org we will sign a punter not crabtree.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:50 pm
javon walker is a bigger bust than ryan leaf.

yeah but Oakland usually pays big bux..
October 12th, 2008 at 5:59 pm
We won’t be able to afford another high 1st round Pick, so maybe we’ll finnaly realize we need more help than one guy and trade DOWN to stockpile Draft picks. The best players on this team Nnamdi Asomougha, Justin Fargas and Zack Miller were late 1st Early 2nd rd players, and that is where the real value in the draft is. Yes, I am already talking about the draft as this season is OVER, and we’ll obviously have an entirely new coaching staff next year, and God willing a new personel man to replace the old fart who has obviously lost it. All great ones eventually lose it, as it is just the nature of things. Al Davis has LOST it, unfortunately he just doesn’t know it yet.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:02 pm
I agree are recieving core is pathetic.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:05 pm

October 12th, 2008 at 6:08 pm
MY FIRST COMPLAINT IS WHO THE HELL IN THERE RIGHT MIND GIVES THIS POTENT OFFENSE A SHORT FIELD WITH THESE STUPID LONG FIELD GOALS WHEN SEABASS HAS A BAD RECORD PASSED THE 40!!! MY SECOND IS THE EXECUTION OR LACK OF BY THE OFFENSE LEAVING THE DEFENSE OUT THERE SO LONG WITH THE ONE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED TOO!!RYAN SHOULD BE FIRED!!!ANYONE KNOWS U CANT GIVE DREW BREES THAT KIND OF TIME!! HE ATE THAT ZONE COVERAGE UP FOR LUNCH WITH NOT ENOUGH BLITZS!!I WOULD TAKE MARVIN LEWIS WHEN HE COME FREE BECAUSE LIKE NORV HES A GOOD COORDINATER BUT NOT A HEAD COACH. ERNIE ACCORSSI AND BILL COWHWER WOULD BE A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
October 12th, 2008 at 6:10 pm
Until JM mature, it will be very painful to watch the offense. One of the earlier poster said it best that we have not had a QB leading the team like Gannon was. JM missed some wide open receivers lately. True that our receivers are not great but can’t give excuse to JM for missing wide open Miller either.
They really need to go to the dump off for JM. They got to get him into a rythm early on. He also needs to start to learn to scramble for positive yards.
I didtn expect us to win today but I do expect us to win next week. That game is definitely winnable and the Jets do not have the same type of receivers or offense as the Saints.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:11 pm
Unknown, K Rock, please tell us more about how we in fact did have a good performance today because, well, we called more passing plays. Keep this comedy show going all night. Don’t stop now.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:11 pm
Boys I’m glad I won’t be able to see the games soon ugh!
October 12th, 2008 at 6:12 pm
Would you guys stop getting on Ryan for this game. Did you not read Nnamdi’s comments that he thought Ryan called a good game. The players were the ones that did not execute.

We’ve certainly upgraded from Kiffin, haven’t we?
Let’s see:
Number of touchdowns: 0
Yeh, the Raiders are just moving up like the Jeffersons under Cable, aren’t they?
Cable’s facial expression really was a combination betwen Shell’s and Bugel’s. I didn’t think anyone could ever pull it off.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:24 pm
Dodgers and Phils are brawling. Just as they were going to commercial Manny went after a Philly. Now Davey Lopes and Marriano Duncan are jawing.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:25 pm
Did K Roach and Unknowing finally pass out?
October 12th, 2008 at 6:26 pm
My goodness, Cable’s squad just looked solid today. Everything was clicking. Offense, defense, special teams. I’m so glad Kiffin’s gone..We’re obviously so much better now…
October 12th, 2008 at 6:27 pm
the brain trust fire kiffin crowd kissing als pinky ring, where r u guys?
October 12th, 2008 at 6:28 pm
Mr….you still whining? Son, I have already owned you so many times today to the point you have to admit to me you were wrong. Why oh why are you still seeking my attention son?
Kiff is better. He at least had a 1-3 record and 5-18 overall. You see how dumb you are again Mr.?
October 12th, 2008 at 6:30 pm
we got continuity guys dont worry we will be fine.
we will be the first sports franchise to have 10 losing seasons. anyone take a guess on how mannhy hc we will have had between now and in four years.
Al go ahead and draft the punter with 4.2 speeed.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:30 pm
Donedeal, please tell me what was so great about Kiff? I dont remember him wanting to be here (arkansas) and winning either. Did you see something we all missed?
October 12th, 2008 at 6:31 pm
HEY AL, YOU SENILE OLD F CK WERE WAS YOUR 16 MILLION DOLLAR MAN THE WORST FREE AGENT SIGNING IN THE HISTORT OF THIS GREAT LEAGUE. JUST DIE BABY THE SOONER THE BETTER .
October 12th, 2008 at 6:31 pm
JaMarcus Russell has a great gun, someone needs to teach him how to fire it.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:32 pm
Thank god we fired Kiffin. I was worried we might become competitive. Oh well. On to next week where we may very well get our butts kicked yet again.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:33 pm
Samhain, he will learn from games like these. He’s got at least the rest of the year to figure it out and then some, its not like we are gunning for the playoffs.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:33 pm
LOL. Wow. Did we drink a little too much of the cheap beer today, guys? This place is about as dead as Cable’s offense. Come on. Defend your owner and his new puppet.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:34 pm
Hey Darth, was it our Offense or D that made us competitive? Oh right, it was the D which Kiffin admitted was not in his control. Right….
October 12th, 2008 at 6:35 pm
I agree, just drove me a little crazy that he over threw a couple today.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:35 pm
MR, why should AD be defended? Even these Al is god people know that he screwed up. I just want the team to win, too bad AD doesn’t care anymore.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:35 pm
I THINK WE SHOULD LET JAMARCUS TAKE HIS LUMPS AND SEE WHAT HES MADE OF. SO THAT WE CAN SEE IF WE NEED TO LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR HELP THERE. OUR O LINE NEEDS TO BE COMPLETLY REVAMPED AND THAT SHOULD BE THE FOCAL POINT OF THIS YEARS DRAFT THERE ARE ALWAYS GOOD POSPECTS BUT OAKLAND ALWAYS PASSESLIKE WHEN WE GRABED THE BUST GALLERY WHEN JASON PETERS WENT UNDRAFTED BECAUSE SOMEONE IN THE BILLS ORGANIZATION SEEN WHAT I SEEN THAT HE WASNT A TIGHTEND LIKE HE WAS IN COLLEGE BUT AN GOOD PROSPECT AT LEFT TACKLE SO WE PICKUP GALLERY AND BUFFALO GOT A PROBOWLER. AND THATS ONLY ONE SORRY EXAMPLE OF THE CRAP DRAFTS THAT WE HAVE HAD. BOTTOM LINE WE NEED BETTER DRAFTS AND A REPUTABLE GM TO HELP US GET OUT OF THE GUTTER.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:36 pm
AlisGod, if it makes you feel like any less of a mindless Davis shill to keep saying that you “owned” me in any argument, go ahead. But ask me this…what did Cable do today to demonstrate, in any way, that he’s an upgrade over Kiffin?
October 12th, 2008 at 6:36 pm
Alisgod, well actually the offense scored less today then ever before, so it’s a good thing we opened it up right?
October 12th, 2008 at 6:37 pm
Yeah, K.Harris was a bad pick up. The guy just cant get it done at the pro level.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:38 pm
I still feel that James Lofton should have been givin the job.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:39 pm
AlisGod,
Cable crossed the goal line how many times today?
What happened to that “cohesiveness” you Davis idiots promised us the past two weeks?
I didn’t see anything “cohesive” today.
And, don’t give me this b.s. spin that it was Cable’s first day. Cable’s first day was a year and a half ago, moron. Just like Kiffin’s. Cable’s been here from the start of the Kiffin era. He knows the offense as good as anyone. He played a mediocre Saints defense today and couldn’t do jack. This is supposed to be an upgrade over Kiffin? This is why nobody takes you morons seriously.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:39 pm
Our receiver can get ZERO separation. My god they suck.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:40 pm
Mr….I will be fair. I dont know where Cable will take us. We cannot judge in one game. If you do that, then do you want to judge Kiffin after the Denver game? Again I just checkmated you.
But since I was fair with you, can you tell me what accomplishments Kitten had that you so much love him?
To be truly fair, I have heard you whine on here for quite sometime now in your lust for Kitten. But I dont remember you detailing what you lvoed about him. Checkmated again.
I do own you son…again.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:40 pm
I hate every team that is left in the playoffs except the Rays. Dammit. Sports just suck right now. At least I have my Sharks.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:41 pm
I agree, Death Pirate. Thank Al Davis for this sub par roster. We know Kiffin wasn’t satisfied. He’s gone for expressing that. You try to do things to make the Raiders better, and you’re out the door. Meanwhile, if you do nothing and bend over for Al, and just let the team get slaughtered like they did today, you get promoted to HC.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:44 pm
Just Win Baby! Too bad Al doesn’t live by his own motto.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:44 pm
AlisGod, if you makes you feel better to keep saying that you own someone in an argument. Keep saying it. Your claims of victory are obviously unrecognized. You’re the Bagh-dad Bob of this blog. Knock yourself out.
But you do have to admit that Tom Cable is hapless. He’s a huge step backward from Kiffin. 3 points on the Aints? My god, give this clown a bus ticket. Too bad we can’t give your iconic Managing General Retard one, too.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:47 pm
Darth, you seem like a reasonable fan so i will reason with you.
Take a look at both the Denver game and Saints game and see the similarities.
1. Great Offense and a fantastic QB
2. West Coast time consuming offense
3. We get no QB pressure. You can’t blame Ryan for this one. Nnamdi admitted Ryan had a good game plan and the players failed him.
In the first half, we hardly have any time of possesion. We hsould have had that TD on the first drive but JM overthrew him.
The game was close but once the score was opened up the passing game had no choice but opened up. There was no more time for a balanced offense.
I didnt expect us to win today. The Saints are a very good team much better than their record. There are some teams in the league that will shred us. Denver and the Saints are those teams.
This next weekend is different. I do expect a much different performance this coming up weekend. Fair enough.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:49 pm
Is Tom Cable Walter from The Big Lebowski?
“I can get you a toe”
October 12th, 2008 at 6:49 pm
“Fortunately for me, Drew likes to check the ball down to the running backs,” Bush said. “It helps when you have a guy like that who can see the field and see the open guy.”
1. Checking down is exactly what Kiffin was teaching Russell to do. Something that Brees has mastered.
2. I don’t ever want to see another Raider football game where our running backs only get 70 yds rushing and nothing catching.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:52 pm
Mr…
You’re right no one is goign to give me anything in here…and i dont seek any either. I just seek yours.
MR Says:
October 12th, 2008 at 3:49 pm
AlisGod, I already told you, you win.
While we are at it, when are you goign to detail for me the GREAT LANE KIFFIN’S achievements?
October 12th, 2008 at 6:52 pm
LOL. Listen to this moron AlisGod.
The Saints are better than their record, he says. Artie G over here…
Listen you Davis minion:
The Saints are not a defensive team. A head coach would have to be flat out retarded to not put up at least 14. Leave it up to this hapless puppet Tom Cable to put up nothing more than a field goal. And to think, we’re supposed to be better off with this guy than we were with Kiffin? Huge LOL
You can duck me all you want now, AlisGod. But I won’t avoid you. I can’t wait to read your comments. You’re a barrel of laughs, guy.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:53 pm
Guys..
Saints didn’t win over us, we lost to our selves..
October 12th, 2008 at 6:54 pm
S&B,
Two things JM needs to learn.
1. Checkdowns
2. Scramble for positive yards.
You have to do this when you have a shaky O line.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:55 pm
LOL on Cable looking like Goodman from Big Lebowski.
“Over the line!!!”
No, Tom, actually we never did get over the goal line, today.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:56 pm
I like to suck dix.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:56 pm
Saints isn’t a good team, they lost to MIN with the backup QB, that team could just about win over DETROIT!!.. we are THAT bad now..
October 12th, 2008 at 6:57 pm
Alisgod,
Agreed. Russell did have a couple of opportunities to take it down the field. But I do like that he is a pass first QB. However, you are right here as well. Russell has to work really hard on his accuracy. Missed Miller on that first drive. Also, his receivers have to make plays for him. Higgins and Miller dropped passes on that first drive too
Alisgod, we have to run the ball better than we did today. I felt that they gave up on the run way to early. Didn’t even see Fargas much. Was he hurt? I was in a sportsbar without sound.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:57 pm
Mr….where’s your response for Kitten? Stand up and defend him like a man.
BTW, since you lack any analytical ability….please check on the time of possession in the first half. That’s what a good Offense does. get it?
October 12th, 2008 at 6:57 pm
Don’t worry Raider fans…Al is going to be meeting late into the night with his new two man inner circle on football decisions. Al, with the help of a former car salesman and a public relations guy, will determine it’s all Cable’s fault and place blame accordingly. Different day, same pile…and it still stinks…
October 12th, 2008 at 6:58 pm
AlisGod..
come on.. he had okay checkdowns two weeks ago.. how do you explain that ?
October 12th, 2008 at 7:00 pm
AlisGod..
hey, why don’t you stand up for Al?? I mean stand up for Cable?
if you noticed it wasn’t Kiffin at the sideline, it was Cable.. if anybody needs to defend them to day its him NOT Kiffin!!
October 12th, 2008 at 7:02 pm
One other thing. Someone get McFadden utilized. WHat a waste! McFadden should be worth 2tds again just on his skill.
He should be getting 15 to 20 touches a game (run & pass).
Why do we get superstars and then underutilize them?
Also, defense played a terrible game today. Too many missed tackles.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:10 pm
jamarc needs to start running the ball if he doesnt see anything it will keep the drive alive and give the defense a break.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:12 pm
LmG, you are wrong. If he had done checkdowns his completion would not be in the 50% range coming into today’s game. he has not done any checkdowns this year consistently. He was doing it in training camp per Jerry Mc’s report.
As for Cable, I never came on here to tout Cable. Who the heck knows how he is going to do it. All I know is I hate Kiffin. I can’t stand a rat and he was a Rat. He didnt want to be here and he was conning the public and media. He lied and he got caught.
As for Al Davis, I leanred a long time that he aint going any where and its his team. The very thing that makes him bad is the same thign that gave us 4 championships in our history, in the last 10 years = 3 div champs, one SB and one tuck game. He sucked the last few years but I think we are very close to winning again. Not because of coaching but because of talent. i believe we are short 1 good DE (burgess is not the answer) and one good FS (huff is garbage).
On the O, we need more time for JM to develop.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:12 pm
I wish I could say that we hit “rock bottom” today but it is only going to get worse. We will stink unitl Al takes a dirt nap.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:14 pm
Bill: Hi, Al, that Walter kid, what do you say? you get a 3rd and a 4th ?
Al: what about Walter for Moss..
Bill: Nah, what about a 2nd?
Al: Now we talking, but if you say a 2nd why not a 1st??
Bill: Come on Al, tune up for that oxygen.. 2nd and a 4th?
Al: 2nd and a 3rd.. remember you tampered with Moss..
Bill: so you say.. Ok Deal!! 2nd and a 4th..
Al: Deal! goodbye..
Bill: Goodbye Mr Davis.. *hangs up*..
Bill: What an !d!ot, the old fart has lost grip og the game, but the old man still can bargain =)
Bill: LOL Moss.. what was he thinking, he stays here..
October 12th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
MR…
Are you missing a chromosome? Did you sniff your pee stained undies when you were little?
Stop misquoting me and spreading disinformation.
Talking to you is like talking to a politician. You ignore facts, lie, and zigzag worse than McCain and Obama put together. (With those two, that would be a lot)
No where did I say the Raiders looked good today.
I said that the game plan was the right one considering the Saints defense.
I said that Russell has to learn. Only way that will happen is to throw the ball. 1 dimensional teams do not win in the NFL. Ask Kiffin.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:18 pm
AlisGod..
LOL, well under Kiffin, Jammy had many incompletions because of checkdowns, he saw everybody was covered and threw it out of bounds..
But, again Kiffin isn’t on trial, Knapp and Cable is, but most of all King Davis..
October 12th, 2008 at 7:18 pm
*Nowhere
October 12th, 2008 at 7:18 pm
Looks like MR has reached a new low of jibberish and nonsense. That game is easy to see what happened. You have a veteran QB who had a fantastic game. That might have been the result of our best pass rusher not even being suited up for the game. No excuses though. Someone else should have risen up and they did not.
On the offensive side, Jamarcus did not have a good game. That is going to happen with a QB making his 6th start. He is going to be inconsistent. Last game, he played well, this game he didn’t play so well. I don’t know how much of that is Tom Cables fault.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:19 pm
LoL..
while you have commercials, we can here Al Michaels and John Madden talk to each other and humming “on air” while we see the sunset in SD =)
October 12th, 2008 at 7:20 pm
Im flat out sick of the excuses. Time to admit that these guys are a team full of Al Bundys!!!
October 12th, 2008 at 7:21 pm
Does anyone in here really think that the Raiders would have won today with Kiffin coaching?
October 12th, 2008 at 7:21 pm
LMG, checkdowns is not throwing it out of bounds. Checkdowns is throwing it to your RB coming out of the backfield. Throwing out of bounds is the same as an incompletion.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:22 pm
K-Rock..
I’m sure we wouldn’t have won, but still Im sure we would have scored at least 14..
October 12th, 2008 at 7:23 pm
K-rock, with the way these guys are talking…i was starting to think we just fired a winning coach and we were 4-0.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:24 pm
AlisGod..
LMG???? LOL woaw =)
Checkdowns, is..
WR#1
WR#2
WR#3
TE
RB
Out of bounds..
do you get it.. check downs..
October 12th, 2008 at 7:27 pm
Russell needs to be benched and Walter should start. At least when given the time he throws the ball where a person can try to catch it.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:29 pm
Wait…what’s your point? you’re trying to tell me he should have thrown out of bounds more often today…what was he throwing 5 ints today?
Checkdown have never involved throwing it out of bounds. Checkdown is going to your outlet. Every play has an outlet. Usually it is your RB who hangs around the line of scrimage. Throwing out of bounds is called GET RID OF THE BALL….
Damn you stupid.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:32 pm
Benching Russell is a ridiculous idea. Everyone who has watched this guy including Phil Simms and Rich Gannon think he is going to be unbelievable. You have to play him. He has to gain experience. Throwing 3 times a half, the way Kiffin wanted, might have made our record 6-10, instead of 5-11, but you would still have a QB with No experience.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:33 pm
can i wake up from my 6 year nightmare yet
October 12th, 2008 at 7:34 pm
With Kiffin still coaching we would have lost 56 - 0 today. Kiffin is a jack hole loser.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:34 pm
People thought Ryan Leaf was going to be good also.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:34 pm
NE is losing 27-3 to San Diego. Kraft needs to die. That guy is the worst owner.
The Patriots will never be good again.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:35 pm
You are seeing the same thing in the Sunday night game. You have an experienced QB having a good game versus an inexperienced QB not having a good game. 24-3.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:35 pm
K-Rock, I agree, but why do you think so?
October 12th, 2008 at 7:37 pm
I think you have Safety valve and Checkdowns mixed =)
But you are right, Cable did one helluva game - or??
October 12th, 2008 at 7:37 pm
Maybe Norv Turner wasn’t such a bad coach afterall. Maybe we JUST SUCK.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:37 pm
The Raiders would not have won with Kiffin coaching, in fact they would have lost by a greater margin, and Jamarcus would have thrown the ball 10 times in the game, getting very little experience. With Kiffin it would have been a lose, lose, lose proposition.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:38 pm
Maybe Norv wasn’t that bad and maybe I just like to suck dix.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:39 pm
Hey LNG,
I have just learned one thing from you tonite…the next time I play Madden, I am going go through my checkdowns. Once I see that all the receivers are covered, I will “checkdown to see if the Out of Bounds is open” lmao.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:40 pm
Lol, MR sux dix?
October 12th, 2008 at 7:40 pm
ahh, so you are trolling eh OG, as who?
October 12th, 2008 at 7:41 pm
I would MUCH rather see the Chargers beat the Patriots, I hate the Chargers, but we ALL know they will choke when the times comes in the playoffs like they ALWAYS have. lmfao.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:41 pm
At least with Kiffen we would of have a lead to blow in the 4th quarter.
Memo to Cable: Get all the tape of the Saints and give it to Knapp. See how they use their stud fast RB??? See how they get both of their RB’s the ball. See how the QB reads? See how they have 2nd and 3rd and short? See how they take a man to man team that rushes four and make them look silly?
Get it done. And soon I’m spending my hard earned money to see the Jets next week.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:42 pm
Has Al died yet?
October 12th, 2008 at 7:42 pm
In order for JR to become great we need to go through times like this. He should have had 5 interceptions today. It’s funny to hear that it’s only 6 games in since Walter got written off in the same amount of time. At least we were ballanced and agressive.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:43 pm
I am going to dress up like Michael Meyers for the next home game against the Jets. I think that will look cool.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:44 pm
SD is putting the beat down on the Pats
October 12th, 2008 at 7:45 pm
Yvonne Walker couldn’t make it on a college team. He flat out sucks
October 12th, 2008 at 7:45 pm
I dress up as women all the time. As a matter of fact I am wearing a bra and panties right now. But it’s a comfort thing, not a weird thing.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:46 pm
Post 144. Grow up man. Wishing death on someone is juvenile.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:46 pm
So Knapps calling the plays, what does Cable do, make sure everyones on the bus.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:46 pm
sea of hands … with Kiff, we would have gone 4-12 again. His record was 1-3 this year and 4-12 last year. That’s about as consistant as you can get. You’re too generous at 6 wins.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:46 pm
Lol. MR I always knew you were a freak, is this your coming out party?
October 12th, 2008 at 7:48 pm
Jamarcus Russell will go down in history as the worst top pick ever,..ever. I hope he gets hooked on crack and Goodell kicks him out of the NFL,…Al Davis is so stupid he will never cut him. Russell sucks.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:49 pm
MR what inspired such a confession?
October 12th, 2008 at 7:49 pm
Go Dodgers!!
October 12th, 2008 at 7:50 pm
Glenn,..you might want to reread the post you questioned of mine,…where does it say I wished death?…maybe you dont know how to read.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:50 pm
AIG, Kiffin was not going to get it done. As much as MR thinks he had the team going in the right direction, MR is a clown. We have a mess on our hands right now. For everyone that wanted to trade Burgess for a 8th round draft choice, maybe you see what he brings to the pass defense. Jamarcus did not play well. That is why you want him out there so he can learn.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:50 pm
MR do you wear a thong?
October 12th, 2008 at 7:51 pm
Cable Guy it doesn’t really matter at this point what you say, you are obviously a complete idiot and moron. So nevermind loser.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:51 pm
I have always been honest with you guys. I am honest about the state of the team, honest about my hatred of Al, and honest about my love for the Phony Whiners. And Jeff Garcia.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:51 pm
Who in college is the consensus top pick next year?
October 12th, 2008 at 7:53 pm
MR are you ok man? Have you lost your marbles man?
October 12th, 2008 at 7:53 pm
Glenn I would never wish death upon someone,.but if I did it would be you.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:55 pm
Sea Of Hands - The mess runs really deep. Because Cable will dismissed at the end of the season and all of the current staff leaves as well. What than? Lets not forget nobody wants to work here as a coach. We will have a team that doesn’t want to play and no one wants to coach.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:55 pm
Point proven
October 12th, 2008 at 7:56 pm
It really turned me off when Al wouldn’t go after Jeff Garcia. Kiff wanted him, but Al wouldn’t do it. So I hate Al all the more. Jeff Garcia is my kind of QB if you know what I mean.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:56 pm
IDIB Post 165:
And a fan base that continues to dress up like clowns every sunday in the crap palace in Oakhole.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:56 pm
Hey man,..whatta day,…look old friends,…pop a little yellow goodie,…enjoy a bottle of Ironstone,…feel good,…dont worry about those imposters in silver and black.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:58 pm
MR we know what you mean. However Jeff Garcia is actually married to a Playboy playmate.
October 12th, 2008 at 7:59 pm
It’s funny listening to all these comments on who should or should not be the coach. I doesn’t matter who Al put their as the puppet we will continue to suck with A.D. as the head coach. It would have been interesting to see what would of happen if Kiffen would have got his wishes, no JR and no Ryan. Can’t be much worse then now. Kiffen is gone for one reason, he didn’t suck up to AD. What a sad organization.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:00 pm
pop a little yellow goodie? wtf does that mean? eat a twinkie? a cream filled pastry?
October 12th, 2008 at 8:00 pm
I Dress in Black, let’s not jump too far ahead here. This was a certain step back, for the whole team. Changing the coaching staff mid season like this is going to set things back, but look at St.Louis. They came in today and laid a whipping on Washington. If the coaching staff leaves at the end of the year, which is a distinct possibility, we will be set back a few more years.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:00 pm
Well you all know me,..I will be there for the J-E-T-S game,…not in costume, not my bag,…but I have a clear view of box 43,..and I will be pointing my middle finger there all game long,…hope I get on tv doing that and the broadcasters comment on what Im doing.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:01 pm
Rob Ryan and Michael Huff should have been gone yesterday.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:01 pm
Looks like MR and his troll patrol are here. Later all.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:01 pm
Russell is going to be fine. This is typical OJT for a QB that I believe started two years of college ball.
This is going to be a tough year but we must develop our young talent and see who can play.
Our next few drafts must focus on the offensive and defensive lines.
We will look decent on occasion when we face a weak opponent(injuries drive alot of this) or a team that takes us lightly.
When we face a team with solid lines and they need to win we will get hammered until we improve our line talent. No amount of coaching is going to fix that reality.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:01 pm
Norco Glenn…Norco.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:01 pm
Oak - I would never take a shot at the fans. But I think your point is that Al treats us like a drug dealer treats his junkie clients. He has no incentive to think any other way.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:01 pm
Oh please fool, the Charger girls beat a Tom Brady-less team, that’s an Award winner.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:02 pm
Ypu mean the clowns in silver and black. Al davis is the leader of this circus.
alisnotgod, wtf are you talking about?
October 12th, 2008 at 8:02 pm
A lesbian playboy bunny.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:02 pm
Norco_Bob you are full of sh!t. You are a poser talking sh!t on a blog. You wont do it. I bet you don’t even go to the game. If you do I bet you dress up like pinhead.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:02 pm
Be back later,..headin to Raleys for another bottle of Ironstone,..on sale this week for 5.99 a bottle!!!
October 12th, 2008 at 8:03 pm

hey do us a favor and post some more pictures of your wife, broad, or whoever that striper was from last week.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:04 pm
randy moss is worthless.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:04 pm
Whatever glenn, Im at every game,…brien comes to all out tailgates too,..hes a cool dude…just because you dont go to games doesnt mean I dont,..Im at every game.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:04 pm
Drink before you drive home though you loser Norco Bob.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:04 pm
Back in a few,..headin to get another bottle.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:04 pm
LOL, Norco_Bob IS BRIEN. EXPOSED. LMFAO.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:05 pm
Norco Bob gives head to get another bottle.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:05 pm
Al Davis thought he was so tough holding that press conference. All he accomplished with that stunt was ensuring that no head coach worth a dime would ever come here again. Grudengate was bad enough. That’s why Payton, Petrino, Weisenhnut and Sarkision turned him down. Kiffin tried to build his own regime bunker style and was snuffed out quickly. But the way Al handled it, especially with the press conference, just set a precedent that he is a complete time bomb that will ruin your career. The nail is now in the coffin for any chance of the Oakland Raiders ever having a real head coach again.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:07 pm
Not one Raider made a play today. The NFL should take their uniforms, money, cars and wives away. Let them go try and find a new gig. Oakland football is dead.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:07 pm
MR I completely agree with you. However, supposedly Payton was never offered the job.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:08 pm
Press conference = top 5 in most ridiculous raider momments
October 12th, 2008 at 8:09 pm
What happened today? I thought with Greg Knapp calling the less conservative plays we were going to be scoring more and more often. No more stalls at red zone.
Atleast we didn’t choke in the 4th quarter in this game, we choked since the biginning. We are performing beter at losing.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:10 pm
The Raiders will never again win more than 5 games in a season while Al Davis is alive. And, honestly, 5 is being generous. This season we will not win more than 3. Cable isn’t going to practice them. Even when they do get control of a game they will fall apart in the 4th, because they’re in piss poor shape.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:10 pm
The NFL should constitute something that says if you are bad 5 seasons in a row the league can should and will step in.
Al you and your minions continue to run this team into the ground. We mindless fans will follow you gauranteed.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:10 pm
* God, I am so ticked at yet another loss, I can’t even type.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:11 pm
MR I agree with you again. OMG what is going on
October 12th, 2008 at 8:11 pm
Yeh, Payton was never offered the job, and Al Davis had nothing to do with our offensive gameplan today, which pretty much relied on forcing a deep passing game that the Saints weren’t giving. Sure…
October 12th, 2008 at 8:12 pm
man patsies look horrible
October 12th, 2008 at 8:12 pm
The Raiders should fire the head coach EVERY WEEK if they lose.
But Ryan should get a pass.
We’ll be fine. Get ready for the playoffs Raider fans.

RaiderMight then go eat a meatcock sandwich and go to bed.

Whoa! I don’t know, if the Chiefs improve at all, I will have to take the 2-14 call back. It looks like it might be 1-15 now. I have been with this team since ‘66, but these are DEFINITELY the biggest collection of soft little pu$$ies to ever don the Silver and Black. Matt Ryan looks like 67 million dollars with a year less than Jamarcus Russell. Russell looks like, maybe 67 cents. Great draft choices, as usual. Way to spend that money AD!

post 203, thats funny stuff. cant stop laughing I dont think we will ever make the playoffs.

I just don’t think Russell is “smart” enough to be an NFL QB. Unlike pop warner, high school, and college football, in the NFL you can’t just rely on athletic ability. You have to be intelligent and have the ability to memorize a playbook.
I just think Russell isn’t very smart. Even when he speaks I am like “what” did he just say.

Norco Bob, seriously…who the hell brags about blowing their money on Raider games?
October 12th, 2008 at 8:16 pm
we will be 2-14
October 12th, 2008 at 8:18 pm
MR
Norco Bob does. who the hell else brags about buying another 5.99 bottle of alcohol. He probably driving under the influence to go get it. What a loser.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:18 pm
I think Russell is more coherent than Al Davis.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:18 pm
post 208, I wont even give you the rspect and calling you by name but that comment on the way he sounds is idiotic. People from the south talk like that. Doesnt mean they are not intelligent. You say some dumb S#!t most of the time you post.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:18 pm
I seriously wouldn’t be surprised if we lost every game the rest of the season. Can it get any worse for us?
October 12th, 2008 at 8:19 pm
5.99 on alcohol is fine. But hundreds of bucks, 8 times a year on Raider games? That’s where I wonder if he landed on his head when he was a kid.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:19 pm
Lik my ballz DoneDeal. Russell is a fukin idiot just like you.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:20 pm

October 12th, 2008 at 8:20 pm
I can understand every word Russell says. I’m sure your shots at Russell are a shot at black slang, but in my eyes, aging white guys trying to talk like Italian mafiosi, like our retarded owner, are far more annoying.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:21 pm

And, Russell will never get a chance to prove how smart he is on this team. Joe Montana would look like Woody Harrelson in the movie Wildcats on this team.

Godam! Thank god Javon is out of the doghouse! Knapp is a friggin genius compared to Kiffin, look at those three points on the board, whoa! Look at McFadden go, he is used in all these creative ways… Great job of taking the baby gloves off Jamarcus, that 13 of 35, int & fumble, game will launch his career and his confidence! Godang Kwami can block!… Just Pathetic Baby!

There is no quarterback in football that could pull the Raiders out of this mess. QBs can’t do it alone. They need a functional organization, and they need to be surrounded by real football players. And, since our only real football players are Nnamdi, Miller, and Fargas, that’s obviously a no go. We’re lucky Russell even signed with us. He should have held out and entered this year’s draft.
