Patriots dangerous down under

As interesting as it will be to watch Randy Moss attempt to get open deep Sunday on the field he graced (or dis-graced) with a half-hearted effort for the better part of two seasons, the danger between the 20s for the Oakland defense will be dealing with Wes Welker.

Welker is the kind of receiver you’d never find in Oakland. He’s 5-foot-9, 185 pounds, doesn’t have blazing speed and wasn’t even drafted out of Texas Tech. Rather than run under rainbows in the vertical game, he’s a catch-and-run specialist adept at helping move the chains.
