Jennifer Modenessi

Before beginning her career in newspapers, Jennifer Modenessi could usually be found in figure drawing workshops, darkrooms, and SF MoMA’s 2nd floor permanent photography collection. Today she designs pages, illustrates, and writes about the arts.

Laura Casey

Laura Casey is a general assignment reporter for the newspaper. She has no formal training in the arts, she just likes to go out and see what there is to see around the Bay Area whether it be sitting in an Oakland parking lot watching independent short films or visiting a little local coffee shop for the art on their walls rather than their java.
