RETAIL DETAIL | Sorry ice cream, I’m on my way to Pinkberry… I wish! So practically everyone I know who’s been to L.A. recently has come back with reports about the frozen yogurt phenomenon known as Pinkberry. Take a listen to the theme song on their Web site, it’s pretty snazzy.

The company sells frozen yogurt that is supposed to be a healthy snack alternative. So far, Pinkberry has expanded in SoCal and New York, but a spokeswoman informed me today there are no plans to come to NorCal … yet. We’ll be waiting!

Well, we have our home-grown Jamba Juice. Reminder: you can get a free breakfast blend or smoothie tomorrow morning!

Pinkberry is amazing! That’s too bad there is none planned for the Bay Area anytime soon. I hear that another SoCal favorite is opening up in Palo Alto this summer - Sprinkles Cupcakes. That place is awesome!!

I was just in SoCal and was so excited to have Pinkberry…I was a little dissapointed because it was not what I expected it to be/or what the hype claims it to be…I had the original with mango. My sis on the other hand told me that the shaved ice was the bomb!! i’ll get that next time…
