I work for a compnay that would love if everyone in the country would telecommute, AT&T. However, for its own employees, it is extremely discouraged. I am not talking about people in call centers, but managers, who have laptops and cellphones, who have bosses that work in diffrent parts of the country! They are discouraged from working out of the office even for one day a week. Just take one look at the parking lot at the AT&T complex in San Ramon and imagine if even a quarter of those people would be able to keep their cars at home. It makes no sense!
