The city of Oakland decided to contribute $70 Million and the case is closed, the issue died killed by lies and deception.
Now, the race is between the train builders and the decline in traffic in the Oakland Airport, obviously from elsewhere, not at all affected by the presence, or absence, of the Oakland Airport Connector, contrary to assertions, repeatedly made by $100K per year professional, liars(?).

The question we shall all watch with the interest of the biggest horse race, with $572 Million in bets, will be decided in two years, when the traffic will be so low, even a blind man can see it. Obfuscation intended to match all the presentations and lies we all heard. Keep the Faith! The Truth shall be made real, all we need to do is follow the decline in riders that started seven (7) years ago. But, you knew that! Didn't you?

Perhaps, we will be more careful nest time, in asking about the risks. Not a bad idea in all cases.
Don't you wish the AIG CEO had asked about "Risks", to someone that knew the truth and was willing to tell?

Where do you find such people, evidently neither they, nor us, found the lady called "Integrity", we replaced her with seductive "Advertising" or Propaganda. And we thougth Marshall Goebbels died in Neuremberg!
He is alive and well and in charge. Achtung! Mein Herr!

Much as I love rail, simply beefing up bus service to the airport is enough. If BART has ANY money for infrastructure, they would do better toimprove maintenance of the current fleet in order to deploy longer trains in rush.
