Youth Clipper card signups in Richmond, El Cerrito & Berkeley

Christmas/New Year’s holiday travel up 4.1 percent in Califronia this year, says AAA survey

MTC considers $1 million contract for move as senator prepares bill to suspend action on move

A week after a state senator announced plans for a bill to block further work on the Metropolitan Transportation Commission’s planned move from Oakland to San Francisco, the agency is calling a special meeting for Wednesday to hire an architectural firm to remodel the new headquarters building in San Francisco. Could there be a bike/ped. lane on Bay Bridge West Span?

A public meeting on a proposal for  bike and pedestrian lanes on the Bay Bridge western span will be held by Caltrans and the Bay Area Toll Authority at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday (tonight) in San Francisco.
