Too much Information Part2

Well it took a week, but we finally have an answer to the the Election Day questions about why people’s personal information are posted outside polling stations.
It’s because the Secretary of State requires it, according to a registrar of voters employee I spoke to today. She spent about 15 minutes looking for the exact code, but couldn’t find it. I’ll take her at her word since I don’t have time right now to call the state.
She also said that the requirement is for the political parties. That way they can tell which of their members have been to the polls. So blame it on the parties, I guess.
