For those with unwavering appetites, the League of Women Voters is hosting a tour of the new Fremont Transfer Station followed by lunch next Tuesday.

The invite reads: “Do you know where your garbage and recycling go? What happens to it? Come see for yourself and then have lunch?”

 The tour is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 20 at the transfer station, 41149 Boyce Road, Fremont. If you plan to show up and eat, call Barbara Friedrich at 510-471-7249.
