Yes, it’s almost 1 a.m. and I’m watching a gay video on YouTube. But it’s no biggie because the video is from last weekend’s Festival of India. For some reason our correspondent/former city editor Rob Dennis neglected to mention in his story that a Gay Indian group had set up shop at the Festival to urge people to reject a ballot measure that would outlaw gay marriage. He was too into henna paste or something like that. Anyway, here is the very tame video:

It’s good to see that this video was picked up by a local new site. I had seen it a few days back when it was posted on a desi (South Asian) gay/lesbian dating site called IndusGay where I am a member. Apparently someone working for the site had gone there to interview some of the people staffing the desi LGBT booth. So, thanks, for picking it up and hopefully spreading it to a much wider group of people both straight and gay !! Just as a side note your readers –yes, there is a gay and lesbian dating site aimed at Desis — along the lines of well known ones like Shaadi and BharatMatromony which are strictly straight.

    Thanks
    Raj
