Make less of a difference day

My dream is dead. Make a Difference Day survives in Union City. The council found enough money to stage the do-gooder event, but not enough fully fund it. Instead of the $10,000 the city usually contributes, this year cash-strapped Union City will only contirbute $5,000.
That probably means fewer volunteer activities, but just as long a story in The Argus.
