I must say, it&#039;s a surprise to see so many McCain/Palin signs in Niles, and there are a few.  It&#039;s almost as odd as seeing a pink triangle at a Bartlett rally.

I made a allusion a few days back to an ratty-haired lefty on 3rd street toward the school who hung a sign over her porch that read &quot;Bush Lied, Thousands Died&quot;. The sign is down, but the tension is still thick on 3rd as her across-the-street neighbor has hung a sign that reads &quot;McCain/Palin -True American Heroes&quot;.

There are no signs displayed on my Niles street that aren&#039;t neon and beer related.  And that is the way it should be.]]></description>
