Bob Wieckowski and Garrett Yee are hosting parties to kick-off their battle to succeed Alberto Torrico in the State Assembly.

Here’s the info on Wieckowski’s party this Thursday:
6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 21
Mission Room, Olive Hyde Guild
123 Washington Blvd., Fremont

And here is the info on Yee’s in June:
6:00 pm – 8:00pm, Monday June 8
Niles Veterans Hall
37154 Second St., Fremont

    Matt, ok , I understand. I lived in Niles for many years, I loved the old Niles where it was vibrant, full of life, and a bit rowdy, around 1960 to the 70′s.
    Some people are trying to sanitize Niles and I guess I resent it a bit. It is now a boring place with lots of junk shops owned by wealthy people who do not live in Niles.
    One of the redeeeming thing about Niles is the Historic Train rides every Sunday.
    I am sure it will change again, the only constant is change
