Calling PG&amp;E got you only a recorded message, which originally promised restoration at 5:30. The message was updated to estimate 9:30 p.m. and offered a callback with status updates. But there was no power at 9:30 and no callback.

I&#039;m still puzzled. There didn&#039;t appear to be any digging going on along Paseo Padre that night. The PG&amp;E crews seemed to be clustered along Tamayo. And the word on the street was that the outage was caused by an electrical fire at the Lucky store--which incidentally was ablaze with lights while we were in the dark.]]></description>
