I felt this was particularly true during the last round of prospective-council-member debates.

I’m guessing that as Bob looks around the room and compares pedigree he (justifiably) feels above the crowd.

What he doesnt seem to get is that his ongoing association with this crowd and his getting along to get along has (after so many years of complacency) compromised any modicum of productivity….

Maybe he is smart and maybe he is a nice person, but along with the rest of the group – has few (if any) successes of any significance and at least a couple of pretty big “oopsies” during his tenure.

Yee’s site talks about Yee, but nothing about his philosophy beyond the vaguest terms. After a few google searches, I’m completely unfamiliar with his political leanings.

But I haven’t voted yet! :)

I’m seriously starting to believe that we need to have mandatory basic aptitude training and testing for public office.

As far as the Dutras are concerned, one of the lesser-known laws of politics is that you can survive your enemies; it’s your friends who do you in.
