No Save NUMMI rally

I don’t know who organized the thing, but now I’m hearing it’s cancelled. Don’t go to the plant on Saturday unless you want some chilaquiles from the Mexican restaurant across the street.

I know that a number of politicians are now running around trying to save NUMMI as noted in the following article.

We have to look back and ask what the City has done historically to keep NUMMI happy here in Fremont. I think this is another example of the business-unfriendly attitude that our City is known for. Let’s hope that this “last minute hail Mary” will work.
