I think we learned a lot from this thread. That in Fremont you are encouraged to share your culture, unless it makes others feel uncomfortable.

i’m asian (not indian) frequently dance at saddle rack.
But i hardly see any asians. I love saddle rack. How come i dont see u guys? I pretty much recognize all the regulars. Hope saddle rack stays open =]

now that comment was spouting off without thinking. but the thing is, everyone’s getting riled up and you are the common denominator. I’m sure a lot of the people who responded wanted to add one of those ‘if you don’t like this country then leave’ comments… but let’s try to get back to the point. You think it is in the saddle rack’s interest to cater to Indians because Fremont has a lot of Indians. OK, that makes some sense…but I am still wondering why you felt uncomfortable, why you chose to go to a country western bar expecting to see –what, ALL Asains, more Asian, what? Just what made you feel uncomfortable? And did you remain uncomfortable until you left? And how long did you stay?

My point was that without places like The Saddle Rack here, it would be even less interesting.

And, I am sorry about all the mean comments,but you are riling up …

well I guess I shouldn’t blame you for my reaction.

I hope the Saddle Rack stays in business and I hope we all meet there and laugh about all this someday.

That’s fine and all, but obviously things haven’t been going well. Probably wouldn’t have hurt if they tried to cater to large portions of Fremont’s “diverse demographics.”
