Niles post office turned a profit

When Niles residents met with U.S. Postal Service employees earlier this month, they were miffed the post office people couldn’t say if the Niles post office had turned a profit.
That’s a big deal considering the postal service is considering closing the Niles branch.
Well, it turns out the post office did turn a profit, and more of a profit than a threatened post office in Berkeley. Sorry I don’t have figures yet for the Mission San Jose Branch. From the post office:
