Fremont police say two gunmen are responsible for five commercial robberies Tuesday, and are also probably connected to a string of robberies last week.
The first robbery Tuesday was at 8:59 p.m. at the Ellsworth 7-11. The two gunmen brandished their weapons and held up the clerk, police said. Then at 9:26 p.m., two gunmen robbed C&C Liquors on Sumpter before fleeing in a white Dodge mini van, that was similar to a get-away car used in robberies last week, police said.
Then it was off to Newark where police say the gunmen robbed two more businesses before heading over to the Fast and Easy Mart in Ardenwood where two men robbed the store and left in the same van.

When and IF these thugs are finally caught and convicted of there string of robberies, can we save the taxpayers money by using lethal injection since they serve no purpose in our society?
