No surprise here: Alameda County Central Labor Committee AFL-CIO endorsed Fremont Councilmember Bob Wieckowski over Ohlone Trustee Garrett Yee in the supervisor race this June. South Bay labor will likely do the same this week.

Also this weekend is the Democratic Party candidate interviews. Oh Boy.

I found out today that I will be covering the Yee-Wieckowski race, which I’m excited about. I’m also excited that I won’t be covering the Supervisor race in which Nadia Lockyer (Bill’s wife) is running against Former State Sen Liz Figueroa, Hayward Councilman Kevin Dowling and my old pal, Union City Mayor Mark Green.
