Good story in Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal about future prospects for the NUMMI site, and why it probably won’t be used for manufacturing every again.
Read it here.
Also, from the cops: Man enters 7-11 on Central Avenue last night. Pulls knife on clerk, grabs 18-pack of beer and peddles away on his bike.

Here we go again – - – once again, we’ve got pretty poor conclusions being drawn and pressed into the limelight of the casual observer.
Is it so difficult to simply cut and paste the facts ???
Question -
Is there any difference between the summary Artz asserts when he says – -
“. . . the NUMMI site . . . .. won’t be used for manufacturing every (sic) again.”
(gosh ! what will WE do ???)
As compared to the actual statements of the referenced article – - which states that there is “. . .no sense. . ” that “the facility will be retooled for another manufacturer.” – - – and, very significantly, which is made in the context of automobile manufacturers that the author has spoken with over the course of the last couple of years …..?
In one case, the author is speaking unilaterally and generalizing the entire “site” and broadly discounts any hope whatsoever for any kind of manufacturing at all – sounds like there are few choices and alternatives – - doesn’t it (quick – grab a stadium while we still can !!!) ?
In the other case, the author is speaking about the prospects for the “facility” to be re-used by automobile manufacturers – a small sub-set of all possible manufacturing uses – - – and the rest of the article certainly sets a tone far more optimistic about the high level of interest that should exist for this “ideal” resource.
Why does the reality and the coverage differ so significantly ????

Citizens of Fremont, The conspiracy of the Mayor, Chamber of Commerce and Nina Moore has succeed in kicking on the stmocahes of hondreds of thousands of
harding working class by getting the NUMMI Plant closed. They will bring their masters Oakland A’s to Fremont to give them the best 400 Acres of Real Esate available in the country for their development.
We have to stop this conspiracy against the people of Fremont.
We have to call an International contest to develop futuristic 22nd century Green ” Smart City ” with best Schools, top Research University, Play ground, Parks, Health Clubs, mixed used Residential, Shops and restuarents. It should be padestrian friendly, using the recycled water,20 Acres of Community Garden and lot of Vertical Parking. The city will be a tourist destination to see it and say “Wow, what a dream city. ”
Let there be conversation to still better my idea.
We need people’s decisions. http://www.YourAmericanVoice.com

WatedMoney, It’s nice brainstorming. May be possible, our grand kids can do in 2110. President Kennedy decided to put the man on the moon and bring back home in 1961 in 10 years. We did it in 8 years. In 1961, the whole world said ” this fellow is mad “. Any new idea is a mad idea. My friend, money invested wisely in the Economy gives returns and creates jobs. I am an optimist, decision maker and action oriented. With best wishes.

Fazlur, I disagree with you stadium position. But you should be commended for pushing your positive vision for Fremont, especially when many of the other non-incumbent candidates have focused so heavily on only that which they oppose.
BTW, Regarding the pictures on your website of you holding signs in public places, do you take requests in exchange for a modest donation?

Marty. I welcome your comments, please look into the stadium benefits like the the contribtion to economy and job creation. The 400 Acres futurist City to be the 8th wonder of the world will create 12000 jobs and boost the econnomy to supplement the loss of jobs of
4,700 employee of Nummi and Vendors hundreds of thousand of the dependent’s livelihood of the employee. No A’s and full funding for education, which are dear to me and I will be holding sign to achieve this noble cause ti highlight its importance.
So far I have not accepted a sinle Cent of donation.I hope to accept donations from the hard working people from next Monday. My friend go to my website and donate $5.Thanks http://www.YourAmericanVoice.com
