From the cops:

A woman was found beaten with severe head injuries Friday night near the intersection of Mission and Niles Boulevard. A male in his early 20s was seen leaving the seen carrying a long skate board and walking towards Old Canyon road. A non police source told me this morning that the woman’s name is Carmen and that she is homeless and a familiar face in Niles.
