Consolidation news: This is the last day of the Union City Fire Department. And San Carlos has just voted to disband its police department.

If Tesla is to remain a luxury brand, then I agree the IPO result is a fantasy. In another economy profitability would be all but guaranteed. But after the initial demand for their Model S pulls forward they are going to find in extremely difficult to move $50k sedans. Hopefully the partnership with Toyota results in a $25K grocery getter, or as I’ve predicted an all electric Prius made at NUMMI.

The new Dog Park is one of the best I have ever seen. They did it right and IMO, there is plenty of seating.
