A few months ago I wrote that the movie theater chain CineLux was negotiating to reopen the Cinedome 8 theater on Mowry.

Well, although neither CineLux or the property owner called me back, I have on good authority that the deal never materialized and there are no imminent plans to reopen the theater.

If only Ishan had made the Cinedome a priority too. Guess we’ll have to wait for his theater in Pacific Commons to open next year.
