From the cops

A parolee escaped capture by both the Milpitas and Fremont police departments on Tuesday. Milpitas cops were watching the parolee get into his car and followed him north on Warm Springs Boulevard in to Fremont. The parolee crashed his vehicle into a barrier and fled on foot. Officers from both departments set up a perimeter, but even with a K-9 unit and a Santa Clara County helicopter, they couldn’t find him

We got a call from someone in Fremont whose daughter got stuck waiting too long for an AC Transit bus because of contract issues with the drivers.
