Interesting coincidence both outages occurred on a Friday and affected the Friday night event. Can’t say I’d like to be soaking wet at that hour, but maybe they offer free hypothermia screening.

VOR makes a valid point, although considering how warm its been lately, can’t say I wouldn’t want to kick back in a pool somewhere. Martz, do you have attendance numbers for that brief heatwave we had last week? I think those would be interesting to see.

The air temperature in the vicinity of the water park was 62º at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening, with a steady breeze off the bay. Not Polar Bear Club weather but definitely….exhilarating.
Based on local news reports we have experienced one of the coldest summers in 30 years here in the Bay Area. I would be surprised to hear they topped last year’s attendance. Those three hot days would have helped, but not enough.

Pardon me, I do stand corrected. Here I was imagining myself in an innertube, cold one in hand. But I must say, after a number of years on the east coast, I find that I love the non humid quality of california air.
