From the cops:
Officer Todd Young continues to improve.  He underwent a procedure yesterday, and is looking at two more over the Labor Day weekend.  For anyone that is interested there is a banner in the Police Department lobby for folks to sign and express there best wishes.  The Police Department is at 2000 Stevenson Blvd.  The lobby is open Monday through Friday 8 – 5.  I believe it is closed this Monday.

Residents near the 39900 block of Michelle Street (just across Paseo Padre from Central Park) reported hearing two shotgun blasts. Police determine noise was connected to a domestic dispute. No one was hurt.
