Controlled Burn at Don Edwards Wildlife Preserve

Crews performed a control burn on 32 acres of the Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge this morning near Cushing Parkway. The burn was to help restore native grasses and reduce the risk of a wildfire. Here’s a photo from U.S. Fish and Wildlife:
