Latest Fremont Census Figures

The Census Bureau released its 2009 American Community Survey Report on Tuesday. It’s the last report that concerns Fremont until the big 10-year census is released.
According to the feds, Fremont is home to just 205,521 people, a majority of whom have Y-chromosomes.
The stats are nearly identical to when the Census Bureau released its 2005 Survey.
Asians are still a plurality with 49.4 percent of Fremont’s population
Whites are 39.5 percent of the population
There are an estimated 34,032 people of Indian descent in Fremont and 34,296 people of Chinese descent, although the margin of error is +/- about 5,000

The Alameda County and Tri Cities Democratic Party should not ignore one of the largest Chinese decent in Fremont as they are playing great role in community service, Civic and public affairs. They don’t include Chinese representation in the Democratic Party in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Shame to them to be called as Democrats. Same case with the Fremont City Council Commissions.
They did not endorse the community leader of Fremont Sue Chan of Chinese decent in 2008 Council elections, instead they endorsed the disreputable Trishah. They did not endorse Garett YEE, for Ohlone Trustee for 2010, even though they had two endorsements,they endorsed Jan only.Jan is the Secretary of Tri Cities Democratic Party. Before her nomination she should have
resigned from the position. They are a disgrace to the Democratic Party. In future they should count the ballots in front of the media.
