A woman returned to her home on the 40000 block of Blacow Road to find  a male burglar inside. She tried to keep in there while the cops en route, but he escaped.

Second garbage can set on fire recently near the U.S. Bank complex on Fremont Boulevard at Walnut Avenue.

Someone at the Residence Inn on Farwell Drive calls his buddy, who’s a Texas lawman upon hearing gunshots in the next room. The lawman called Fremont PD and officers determined that the noise was from a movie.

After arresting a shoplifter at Kohl’s, officers went to his home on Independence Road and found drugs and weapons. They also found three children who were taken into protective custody.

Cops were called to a burglary in progress at US Gypsum on Shinn Street. No burglary, but cops did arrest someone for graffiti vandalism to the building.

Crooks entered through the bathroom window and stole jewelry from a home on the 34000 block of Blackstone Way.

Two antique boats were stolen out of storage.
