That’s the project with the movie theater, Target and several other stores. I had heard it should be open within a year.

Thanks for the update, Matt. I wonder what delayed this project by several months.
Any word yet on whether Cinemark/Century will actually be the theatre operator, or has someone else taken over?

Is it really going to be called “Ishan Plaza”?

haha =]
all jokes aside, is this expansion still going to fall under the Pacific Commons moniker, or will the extended area have a different name?

Supposedly, it’s all going to be considered PC, but this section will be called The Block at Pacific Commons. Marketing/leasing is all under one umbrella. It’s just that The Block will have a different “feel” than the existing section; i.e., will be “walkable.” There will be a promenade leading from Target to the theatre, along the lines of Hacienda in Dublin. Storefronts along PC Blvd. will be at the sidewalk line, giving it an urban feel.
